LaConfora: Text Details

Yeah, Richie won't play another down in this league again. Not sure if he really cares, though. What a scumbag.

It matters if he 'threatened' those family members months ago.

A time line would help clear alot of things up. Where was the Dolphin player rep during all of this?

Okay, that's a good point. It seems to me that this was probably just brought to the attention of the team, because that would explain why the team went from saying "Make a complaint and show us something happened" to "Richie is suspended" in the span of just a few hours.

That said, boy is Joe Philbin's job in jeopardy right now. And rightfully so, IMO.

Man, that stinks. I kinda always liked Richie Incognito. Why are so many nfl players complete meatballs?

Why does it make a difference if they were sent months ago? If anything that would show a disturbing trend of continuing harassment. The lunch room incident probably put him over the edge. I'm trying to figure out what martin did wrong. If he indeed tried to speak with coaches about it first, and it fell on deaf ears, then what was he supposed to do?

Ask the NFLPA and their player rep. who is in the locker room with Martin.

Do you people just like to jump to blame?

Wow f u richie. The more that comes out the worse richie looks. He wont play another snap again for fins. Maybe martin comes back

There is no coming back from this for Incognito. No matter what stories his dad says about Martin on here won't help either.

This is bottom of the barrel for any man. His history and slactions speak volumes. Disgusting.

In fact, if martin was indeed suicidal, etc. then it makes what Incognito did absolutely reprehensible.

LaConfora's a tool, but if that's verified, there's no denying it's pretty awful. It also marks the end of Incog's career judging from the blowback on the Cooper incident. Totally unnecessary. While I think there was a trigger catalyst, there's no rationalizing this kind of response, none at all. However, I do think Martin could have handled this internally with the club and shared it with some opposing team defensive LBs and OL who would have taken umbrage. I learned in HS, and taught my son young that there's only one way to handle a bully that he'll understand.

Do you really think philbin could loose his job over this mess?

Cut Richie right now.

I would say that's just a formality at this point. The league nor the Dolphins want to come off half-****ed and make rulings before having all of the evidence in front of them and taking the time to make the best decision.

There may even be some technical lingo that needs to be reviewed in relation to the contact, fines for team policy violations and NFL violations.

It would be my guess that while the Dolphins have already decided to cut Incog, they will probably let the NFL take the lead and spotlight on this issue. The Dolphins don't want to hastily make decisions when their own butts are on the line too. This has implications on many, many levels. Their may even be legal implications they are dealing with. I'm sure there are several rooms full of lawyers sorting out the path both the Dolphins and the NFL needs to take.

So he basically can't win. He went to the coaches and nothing was done. He left the team to get help, and hes a quitter. The dolphins denied knowing anything and basically forced his hand into getting the NFLPA involved.

Yes, Incognito is finished. This is at least strike three maybe four or five for him.

The main thing is was Incognito the only cupirit here.

Its pretty obvious he's gone and probably will never play another down in the NFL again, the bigger and more disturbing thing could be if Pounce,Jerry,Cabo or any other the other guys were saying this same stuff. Then it goes from an isolated D-Bag too just a terrible environment.

Its bad enough nobody stepped in, but if they knew the extent of it or participated in it then it will get a lot worse.

I still hold Philbin accountable somewhat, but if he saw these texts before and kept Cogs as a leader then he needs to join him on the unemployment line
