I have no idea why people need to know more information. Does it change the fact that this is happening? No.... So you knowing more changes nothing, it's not like you can do anything about it. It's really none of our business. Just my opinion. as long as this team tries to keep winning games, and doesn't let this affect them, let this stuff be dealt with, by the proper channels. As for when these texts were sent or not, they were still sent, Incognito is a sorry excuse for a human being. I will be in Tampa supporting my Dolphins team. I am too excited for this game, for this crap to affect my excitement.

Because that would have been spun badly for martin first he sucks now hes fighting teammates what a loser. Its all Incognitos fault. He started it and this goes way beyond a silly lunchroom joke. Martin talked to coach they did nothing so he left. Why should he continue to take abuse every day? Incognito has kept it going in the media since it happened to try to save his ass. Claiming Martin texted him not blaming him, blasting scheffter, his dad on here etc. He needs to go end of story
 
Why does it have to be so hard to be a Dolphin fan? Why?

He's the coach. He's in charge of the players. Yea, his job is firmly on the line. There will be jobs lost over this. IF Philbin survives, a subordinate coach will be offered as food for the lions, probably OLine coach. And then Philbin will go from getting a pass on having a young team that needs to learn and develop into a team that must win now or the entire staff will be jettisoned.

Philbin's kitchen just got real hot. As it rightfully should. This is a total management failure.

Can you NOT READ?

Every team has a PLAYER REP. A rep who is basically a UNION steward on the job site. That player rep is there to ensure a safe work place. The NFLPA isn't the LAST LINE of defense, its the first. Its why they have reps on EVERY TEAM in EVERY locker room. Do you not understand how a Union works on a job site?
 
A player on your team is threatening to inflict serious bodily harm on the family of another player and sending him vile, abusive messages.

If you know about that and you don't take serious action immediately... yeah, I want your head on a platter, coach.

Spot on. Cog doesn't even realize he did anything wrong. That is frightening.
 
Regardless of wheather he knew or not, having Cogs as part of your leadership council was just an AWFUL decision.
 
I put my phone down for 5 minutes and come back to this. This situation is just getting worse by the minute.

What is a UNION for? Many of you here are showing no ability to reason when a path to remediation is available to all players in the NFL. The NFLPA and its union rep dropped the ball, or Martin never went that route, which shows ignorance or laziness.

April 2013 this voice mail happened. So my question is did Martin report it? and if he didn't, why didn't he report it until right after he lost his LT gig?

Are you Ritchie Srs. alternate account. Accept the facts, failure on everyone's part accept Martin. Ritchie is solely to blame and then coaches and apparently player reps next. Sorry I don't have a complete understanding of how a union rep works on a job site cause I am not a economy sapping union worker.

Nah. Martin did the right thing. He had to leave the scene to protect himself physically. Good decision. Also, Martin did bring it to the club months ago and apparently nothing happened, other than the club obviously thought Martin was crazy.
I don't get your train of thought at all to come to the conclusion you did.
