Agreed. Definitely not supporting this scumbag. There is way too much evidence against him for him to clear his dirty name. And just think, a few months ago that ESPN 30 on 30 came out about how Ingcognito had turned the corner and matured - pffft...

All that being said, Martin did bitch out. Even if Incognito could whoop Martin a**, and it is more than likely Incignito would have wiped the floor with Martin, Martin still should have defended himself and his family, if not phisically at least verbally.

What a dick Incognito is. Whats your definition of "Team" Richie?

He wasnt offended dude he was scared wth dont u understand bout that u have a guy whos known to be a dirtbag around the league threatening a guy who everyone says is weird and obviously is just one of those nice guys who cant hurt a fly... all cog did was put fear in his heart n he finally couldn't take it anymore it dont matter if it was a year ago... the problem is he tried to ruff it out till it stopped it didnt stop so he snapped. .. I personally would of put my hands on cog... but everyone is different. .. martim is not the distraction n in my eyes he never was whem he blew up it showed me that something was going on that no one knew about.. n if everything is true I hope the scumbag never sees an nfl game outside of his couch again. Listen, you stepped to insulting me first because I was unaware of how the NFLPA figures into the locker room ( I imagine this is hardly common fan knowledge). That doesn't change the fact that coaches and the organization slipped up in letting this happen.

What does having voicemails from april say about martin? If he has an iphone (or any modern smartphone) voicemails are there. I still have voicemails from last year.
 
Yes, those texts are messed up, but I still feel both parties are to blame.

For one, Martin obviously let this escalate and escalate until he lost his mind. Any rational individual would've dealt with it from the beginning.

And there comes my biggest issue with Martin. Instead of going to Dolphins management and revealing all this info, he leaves the team and gets the national media involved, creating this circus we have now. I don't know if he wanted to punish the entire Fins organization or he's just a complete child, but either way he didn't go about dealing with this problem the right way.
 
I thought about this as well. It certianly is not beyond the realm of possibility that when lining up next to each other, Richie would talk **** to Martin standing next to him. "Hey Rookie, once this game is done I'm going to... blah blah blah"... Who knows. I can see it happening now.

Not just the mental component of him next to Martin on each play. But what about plays Incog decided to not help or maybe "miss" a block that made Martin look bad.

All that said, I think Martin has every right to be back on this team. And his return would be nothing short of the journey Ricky had to make to come back. I think most people will want everyone involved gone, but that just speaks of their inability to accept the truth of what happened.

Wanting Martin off the team is equivalent to approving of Incognito's behavior.

It seems to me that you are truly ignorant and probably a bully yourself at some point in time. It's called building a case, maybe he was hoping this bullying would at some point abate, and when it continued, he completely lost it. I commend Martin for having the smarts to keep these voicemails and texts, so that when it was time, he would have his proof. In the end, Incognito is in the wrong and Martin, is the victim. You seem to be the type of person, that would blame the woman for the way she dresses, for the reason why she was raped. Just my opinion.

Well originally it looked like he was just leaving the team and getting treatment. Initially one getting publicly shamed was martin. The dolphins then denied any knowledge of bullying or mistreatment in the locker room. I would say they painted martin into a PR corner.
 
My other problem with this is why would Martin continually hang out with Incognito after the April voicemails?

The two of them also participated in pranking Samuda. If the issue bothered him that much when it happened, why would he be hanging around Nola with the man who did it to him?

While what happened was wrong, I think Martin is using this to his advantage to compensate for his frustrations with being kicked to RT.
