Lamar Gordon is now an "afterthought"

Hopefully Gordon will get out of Miami!! He needs to be with a team with potential!! His abilities are there, too bad he doesn't have a half descent offensive line in front of him. Absolutely pathetic!!!!! Ricky, Ronnie, Lamar, etc. are'nt going to do anything without a line. No question that Ricky and Ronnie will proabably do better than Gordon but it still won't be much. Obviousely the talant is there with Gorden, he has been able to prove that in practice; it's too bad he hasn't had a chance to show it in a game since he's getting hit within a yard after he gets the ball. Please trade Gordon!!!

I take it your a fan of his. Ricky, Sammy and hopefully Ronnie will do just fine behind this years line because they have something called running instincts.

Id rather have Minor honestly. Try and get anything you can for Lamar or just cut him I suppose. Minor is a better runner with better vision. Hes got that scrappy kind of power.He also has nice hands, returns kicks, covers kicks, and if you watch hes great at picking up the blitz. Lamar looks sloppy and lathargic (sp?).Lamars got better size and nice speed. I still think we need Minors versatiliy more than we need Lamars size. Morris is better than Lamar and will cover for Rickys suspension just fine along with Brown......JMHO

man you had a good post until you said you would rather have minor. hell minor falls down every time he gets near a defender let alone getting the snot knocked out of him. but i will agree that he is better than gordon. but i love it the for the first time in dolphin history we will noow have two really good rbs . i belive that kay jay should be kept on the team and he should have his butt glued to a chair in the film room to learn the offense then he will be a pro bowl rb .

Minor doesnt fall down when hes near a defender. Your letting his size fool you. There are PLENTY of runs from last years games (see the Cardinals game) where he shows toughness and slices through openings while breaking tackles. I think most have written him off as the first rb to be cut (which may be true) but I think thats a mistake. WAYYYY outta the blue side note.......he takes a block like a man!

Gordon is worse than J.J. Johnson, I agree with an earlier post, the guy has a lethargic running style - zero sense of urgency or hunger, if size matters (and speed) then Lamar surely doesn't know how to utilize his to the fullest as of yet.

He's a goner - he is letting his family down buy not showing the league he can ball.
