Seeing how Gordon hasn't played much for us in the first 4 games of the PS, do you really think we can get anything for Gordon? If I was the GM of another team and I was in need of a RB, I would take the chance that the Dolphins release one of their RB (Minor or Gordon) because they can't keep them all. The best we can get for Gordon is a conditional 7th. He just hasn't shown teams anything that would lead you to believe that we would keep him when we have Ronni, Ricky (after week 5), Sammie, and Travis ahead of him.

yeah, at this point we'll take anything we can get.

Gordon has shown potential in the past. that alone would warrent some interest. especially from the teams that have injury problems. i bet if we trade him we get more than a 7th. probably a 4th or 5th.

I would take anything too but do you think anyone is willing to give up something for a guy who will most likely end up getting released? Even a 7th rounder is too much for a guy who you could possibly get for free.

If this happens, I'll buy you a beer. Just tell me where to send it.

The Edge and Sean Alexander were available this year for a 2nd pick. No one wanted them and they're much better than Gordon. We'll be lucky to get anything for him!:shakeno:

Saban may keep him around for the 1st 4 weeks somply because Ricky won't be able to play. If someone really wants him, I don't know if they can risk not sending a pick for him. I could see the Eagles giving up a #5. And there is the potential to package Thompson with him for a better pick.

But you have to keep salaries in mind too. Anyone who wanted Edge or Alexander would have had to give up a pick AND pay them a huge contract. GOrdon doesn't make that much.

Thats true. But it still speaks volumes about Gordon's worth... imo
