Lamar Miller sucks

His AVG was helped by the long run he had - which he fumbled at the end of. Kind of like the long run he fumbled on last year against cincy. He has concentration issues. Any legit RB would have covered that ball up - you know the hit is coming. To me these are troublesome signs.

Yes we won, yes I've been on a high all week. I watched the highlights 15 times already. We won't win a lot of games turning it over three times in the first half. I really think that fumble was terrible and killed a scoring drive. And I have yet to see this kid contribute in a way that makes up for a bad play here or there.

2 fumbles is troublesome signs? Do you recall that he wasn't the only one that fumbled the ball in that game?

Just because we won 1 game doesn't mean we can ignore bad plays. Calling out Lamar Miller for that fumble is perfectly ok, and I dont think someone has to "find another team" because they "bitch and moan" about a goal line fumble. You can bet that every poster on this forum was bitching and moaning about it when it happened. Even if we win the game, turnovers still matter, and there is nothing blasphemous about talking about our bad plays even after a win.

OK, let's go with your thinking. Miller had 78 yard of O and a TD but, had a fumble. He sucks. Wallace had 81 yards, a TD but, a fumble. He sucks. Sims dropped a TD, and blocked some. He sucks. Landry had a drop and one good block. He sucks. Clay had a drop, and did little else. He sucks. Tannehill had a fumble (not lost) and threw a pick. Should he suck as well?

If you're gonna do something, at least do it right. LOL

No thats not my thinking at all. I don't look at one game and make a definitive judgement on a player. My judgement on Lamar Miller is based of of 2+ years of game tapes. I dont know what Mike Wallace's and Dion Sim's stats from SUnday have anything to do with Miller's 2 years of playing like a backup RB.

If you are going to do something, at least pretend like you have a clue about football.

Yeah, Miller carried the ball 177 times last year, with 1 fumble (among the best in the NFL). That shows a consistent problem when looking at that one play, and discounting the other 176 to try to make a point. LOL

What exactly are you trying to say? That Lamar Miller is a good RB? The fumble is an example of the many times the guy fails when he has an opportunity. Whether its a fumble, a blocking miscue, or getting blown over by a gust of wind. He is not a starting caliber RB in the NFL.

Read what you posted, which is what I answered, and stop changing things when you are wrong, as you always do along with a little personal attack thrown in. LOL

He's our BACKUP RB so what's the big deal?!?

You're wrong.

And before you reply with a simple minded retort, that's the opinion of Bill Lazor, who thinks he can become a complete back in the NFL, not mine. So you can e-mail him. I don't care what you think.

I know exactly what I posted, and I stand by every word I said. And you started with the personal attacks.

you're putting too much stock into the moniker "starter". he won't play more snaps than Moreno if both stay healthy.

Well we know that now, but that wasnt what the discussion was about. It was about Miller being a good/bad RB.

Man, the people in this thread who would be satisfied with Lamar Miller as our starting RB, just wow. I cant take you seriously if you think he is a starting caliber RB. Becoming a complete back and actually being a complete back are 2 entirely different things.

One fumble in a year. Two sacks and a hit given up in a year (#7 of all NFL RB's). Twenty caused missed tackles, compared to Moreno's 21 on 64 more carries, in a year. Are you watching that game tape with a blindfold?

He was our starting running back on Sunday. I'm sure he will be the backup going forward, so there is no big deal.

Doesnt mean much, everyone knew that in spite of Miller being "listed" as the starting RB, it was really Moreno's gig and that he would get the majority of carries.
