Langford or Soliai?

Should we keep Langford or Soliai?

Soliai all the way, Langford is great but I think Odrick could step in for him
 
if its between solia and matt flynn give me the qb...paul solia isn't getting us over the hump...if flynns legit he could

and i'm still not over the hump either way...i'm just sayin if its free agency and philbin endorses flynn as a legit qb he'd be my top priority...everyone else waits...solia included...

this is probably gonna be one of those deals where miami offers both solia and langford a contract more intent on keeping solia but ends up keeping whoever is willing to work with them money wise...

if its a hybrid d no question i choose solia but langford while more a value in a 34 can and has shown he can play in 4 man fronts at end some the last 2 years...he's just not ideal by any means...and langford will be slightly cheaper than solia in my estimation

so don't be shocked if solia prices himself out of miami this offseason...in which case miami needs to either get active in free agency on a cheaper alternative for the short term and likely use that high 2nd rounder on taamu of washington...solia could get us in a pinch in a hurry this offseason...cards are all in his favor right now
 
ireland knows that the one thing that he must find to give him stability in his job going forward is you guessed it...qb...thats why he's already come out and said it even to the media..."we need a qb that can get us over the hump"

it should and has to be the top priority this offseason...if you try and fail then you move on to your own free agents...but peyton manning and matt flynns agents should be expecting calls as soon as its allowed...

i'll be shocked if miami doesn't make a heavy play this offseason financially in the position...heavy play...free agency or draft...
 
If we can only keep one, then you keep Soliai without a doubt because whether its a 3-4/4-3, you need someone to anchor in the middle. Soliai is invaluable in both a 4-3 or 3-4, he's that immovable force in the middle; or what Ireland coined, "trash can full of dirt."

We don't have anyone else on the roster who can fill that void.
 
That big mamba wants $10 mil a year , he just got $12mil? for the past season go to a 43 and get another inside linbacker whos a beast for cheaper. We have many holes and I like soliai but if we run a 43 he is a luxury not a need.
 
I would say Langford because Solai's agent greatly overrates his client. Solai is a good NT that we offered a contract very similar to what a great NT was making his agent basically asked for 30 mill in guarantees. Our money would be better spent elsewhere. Im all for making a fair offer to Solai and if his agent still asks for idiotic numbers , make Sione Pouha an offer and call it a day. Antonio Garay is going to be a free agent as well as Aubrayo Franklin. None of these guys would be a down grade and all will probably be cheaper based on Solai's agent demands last year. His agent showed no willingness to work with the fins and refused to have hisi franchise salary included in the guaranteed money . Wilfork one of the best in the game had his included and its pretty standard practice to include it.
