I'm sure Whitner's a solid pick.

However, I'm more intrigued by Jason Allen.
I like his versatility.......he can play S & CB.
Also, I read that his combine numbers were through the roof. Yes, I know combine numbers aren't everything, but I like his versatility, and maybe his "upside" is greater than Whitner's.

I think New England will grab DeAngelo Williams or LenDale White if either were to drop to their pick. I doubt Denver goes double-offensively with their 2 first round picks.

well whitner also has the versatility to play either cb or s. they both seem to have similar measurables when going over their combine stats. allen however is four inches taller but had the hip injury although he is fully recovered. whitner never had a big injury but is also 5'10.

You might as well flip a coin when it comes to picking them then.

id personally like allen because he was thought of as a top ten pick before the injury.

I prefer Allen because of his height. But I wouldn't mind getting Whitner is Jason Allen is not there.

well it sounds like they are both going to be there. i prefer allen because of the height as well plus after ck ranked the defensive backs athletically according to there agility drills, allen came out on top. not bad for a guy thats 6'2 and weighs over 200 pounds.

i can't believe deangelo williams keeps dropping in everyone's mocks. he's a top 10 player. and lendale white's stock has dropped a LOT after the pro day.

I think if Denver goes in another direction, Miami has to take Jackson.

Oh hell yeah take jackson, or trade down get morepicks and draft a safety like greg blue outa georgia

Someone also mentioned Santonio Holmes in another topic. I think that they have to go best available regardless of position, but I would not be angry at all if they traded down.
