Sorry guys... i know this is asked a lot but does anyone know the latest on arrington? i know in the finheaven poll that the percent decreased. what is the lastest and do you think we will end up getting him?

He's still making his rounds....

Cincy is his next stop, but I still keep hearing the same thing....

Nobody is willing to meet Arrington's current contract demands, and until he lowers his price tag, he'll remain unemployed. This could take awhile longer before being settled...

PHINZ RULE!!!

I wonder what his physical status is doing to these negotiations. I'm sure there is concern over his health. Is that why a lot of these FAs are asking such big money, because they know their time in the league is short? Brees for instance...

i dont think he failed his physical. their saying that so they don't have to pay him as much.

The longer he takes....the less money teams have to spend on him.

Do you imagine what kind of lawsuit "big case" "big money" this could be if anybody lies to player about his physical health...

I was thinking the same thing. Was that actually confirmed or reported by anyone other than the JAX radio show?

With us rumored to be his first choice, and with the talks of NYG and JAX backing out, our chances right now are very good. It's looking really good for us; but it can all go south very fast if Cincy put up some big money to sign him.

Once again, I have to give props to Saban and Mueller on how they are handling this situation; instead they could of gone into a panic and raised their offer to get him.

The longer this draaaaaaaaaaaaaaags on, the more I think we are going to see someone "lease" him for a one year contract while he proves he is healthy and back up to pro bowl status.

I love the way Saban played this, LA is costing us less every day and I truly believe he is ultimately headed our way.

In Saban We Trust!

I think he meant that (as I guessed in another thread) Jax may have leaked info about his physical to lower his value and scare other teams off.

As much as I like Arringtons potential, we are not desperate to fill that spot with him.

There is a very nice crop of LBs entering this years draft, and we can fill that spot easily with the #16 pick.

So IMO at this point Lavar would be a luxury not a necessity.
