Leadership, not talent, the issue for the Miami Dolphins

The Fins had some leaders and Philbin ran them out of town.

And we had a better record. It is a talent issue plain and simple!

The biggest problem with the Miami Dolphins is not talent, but leadership.
Any successful team needs players who will step up to the plate and lead by example. There's just not enough of those players in this current Dolphins team.That's not to suggest Ryan Tannehill isn't a leader. In fact, last season Ryan Tannehill was the leader on offense, if not the whole team. That's remarkable for a second year quarterback. However, Tannehill can't do it all on his own. Dennis Hickey needs to surround Tannehill with players that will fire the whole team up to get this team back on the straight and narrow.
Remember it's leadership, not talent, that is the biggest fault of the Miami Dolphins. Do you agree?

Remember leaders are winners, when the Dolphins build a team of leaders then the winnings will come.

This team did not win because of lack of talent on the O-line, and LB's. Patton couldn't have made a difference with that offensive line that Ireland pieced together.

I think they need both.

I agree. I think the defense(as long as we resign our free agents) is one player away from being elite. Ideally, that player is elite and a leader.
