League Sources: Daboll Favorite For Dolphins Job

The thing with McDaniel is the fact that he’s mastered an established system on offense that has proven time and time again to get results. McDaniel’s running schemes are innovative as hell and we’re watching that 49er offense have success running the ball versus playoff quality NFL defenses that know the run is coming and they’re winning games despite average to poor performances coming from their QB.

McDaniel needs to be the hire.
From what I've read, his running game uses some fancy blocking schemes. Who in Miami's Front Office is capable of finding o-linemen that can handle complicated blocking schemes? After three years of trades, drafting, and Free Agency, the best they could come up with was the worst o-line in the entire league! If they hire McDaniel, he'd better be able to find his own o-linemen.

Wow. I remember when we ran Daboll out of town with pitchforks and torches the first time he was here.
What did he do? Oh yeah, offensive coordinator. He's still an offensive coordinator that we all want to make be the new HC of the team.
Awesome.

On sports radio here in NY they were claiming Daboll is a lock for the Giants job. They were claiming the knock on Flores, was he couldn't assemble a quality offensive coaching staff, and couldn't get along with his GM.

And the Giants say no to Watson as with Flores according to Mara

Either one of these guy's will be an administrator, not a coordinator. There seeems to be a big difference in the big step up to HC, and we haven't done that well. Daboll looks the part, McDaniel not so much, but then again Bill Walsh looked like a adjunct professor...

Watson had one good season, with a killer defense, the guy is overrated at best and garbage at worst. I pick the latter.

Sounds like teams know the truth about Flores' power play in Miami and feel he'd be a cancer.
