Lebatard Show

I read a tweet today from a reporter who follows Miami (sorry can't remember who now). He tweeted how in his opinion Ross could be meeting with his advisor group spending the weekend contacting potential replacements for GM or HC or both. He thought if Ross remained silent through today that was because Ross was looking at alternatives. Just his opinion I know but an interesting one.

Definately makes sense, although doubtful

I think all is quiet today because Ross is hosting the Orange Bowl tonight. Likely doesn't want to create a distraction from the game with any announcements about firings/non-firings with the Dolphins.

Well, all Ross needs to do is ask this board for advice and we will advice him to get rid of Ireland.

Ozzy rules!!

I think Marino, on the advisors team, works with Cowher on TV and might have some insight to his state of change. Frankly I think it would be interesting. Cowher is a football guy, knows talent, has won running and throwing, hired good coordinators, and in general had a lot of success. If nothing else he'd make sure the Coyle teaches guys how to tackle.

That could be true also but I don't believe Ross was at the game for whatever that is worth.

Why would anyone want a guy that hasn't done anything in the game for years? I never understood this with Gruden/Cowher. Could they even put together a legitimate staff? Usually Coaches will have guys loyal to them and move around like a unit. I'm not talking about coordinators, you can get those guys whenever. I'm talking scouting teams, personnel people, equipment workers.

Most fans always say "bring in the new up and comer with fresh ideas and innovative systems" then they want a dinosaur on the staff. And don't give me his superbowl ring as an excuse to pay him 7mil a year. Hes been a family man for the last 6, whatever he was doing in the past is in the past. Look at Shanny. That went swell.
For your answer - Gruden and Cowher just tap their rings on the table. Another corona thx...
The fact that many years have passed doesn't matter. They are like NFL royalty. They got the rings.

i guess no one remembers COWER saying after the harbaugh fiasco he "would never work for an owner who would do soemthing like that" .

cowher isnt coming here, gm, coach, ball boy, janitor, security, corn dog guy, etc....... . he aint comin'!!

That's truly a shame. If Ross only knew that I would renew my season tix if I could just buy a corn dog from Cowher.
