Legality of Revis' TD Questioned.

If it was pass interference it would have been on marshall, who stumbled into revis. If you think otherwise, you didnt see it or dont understand the rules of the game, and are just going by what the announcer said during the game.

It was a good no call on Marshall because his contact was incidental, had there been a flag, the jets would have declined anyways.......everyone is just going off of what ron jaworski was blabbing about, and thats frighteningly sad.....yall need to learn a few things i guess.

ive watched football 28 years, and if that wasnt PI( Pass Interfrence ) ,then i dont know what is , so you call it whatever you want , but imo ive never seen a play like that go uncalled and even if you say it wasnt pass interfrence , then it should have been incidental contact by Revis , it was over 5 yards , but im still imo and alot more peoples , that it was pass interfrence plain and simple....................

You gotta love the "if you don't agree with me then you don't know the game while I do" argument. Anybody that uses that BS is obviously harboring some insecurities.

Funny, but Jon Gruden and Ron Jaworski both thought it was PI. So I guess they fall into the "didnt see it or dont understand the rules of the game, and are just going by what the announcer said during the game" category too, huh??

Well, let's break that down, shall we? We know for a fact they did see it. Since one was a head coach, the other a player and now both commentators on the game, we also know for a fact that they understand the rules. But you are correct on the last point. They are going by what the announcer said as they were the announcers that said it!!

If I didn't believe my own eyes along with the experience of over 35 years of watching the NFL religiously, I'd choose to believe the opinions of a Super Bowl winning coach and a long time NFL QB over someone that would make the asinine assumption that you did.

i find it hilarious that someone who doesnt understand the rules of the game is calling out fans for not understanding the rules of the game.. great post bud..lol.. i guess gruden and jaws dont understand the rules of the game either..or you know more than they do... haha

Revis was so annoyed we should make mike an honorary captain for this

Revis knows hes guilty. I think we should put marshall on nancy grace. Then she could tell him he's a victim.

I think you could look at most of darelle revis' coverage and find that it's illegal. for whatever reason he never draws flag. and than nfl countdown and boomer cum down their leg every pregame show talking about how good he is.

Revis has reached the point where he's being gifted Michael Jordon treatment by the officials. It's egregious and disgusting although there's no question that if anybody's earned it, it would be him

Francesa is an arrogant idiot, Giants homer, Jets hater, who got put in his place by the best corner in the game today. He's obviously hating. If that was the Giants, he'll be praising Revis on what a great play he made.
There's a reason why the NY Jets don't give him any interviews.

It's always fun reading Vaarks posts.....it's like sitting with your Thesaurus in english class trying to find ways to stump the teacher so you can show you're far more versed than they. This would only get better if you revealed that you actually are an english professor or that you consult for Rogets.......

Plays like the Revis interception should be challengeable. Coaches should have the ability to say that their receiver was interfered with and challenge it.

Nah, there has to be a line where human error is just accepted. If not the games would last 5 hours and get frustrating bc they would be stopping the game every 3 minutes to challenge every call.

If you read the whole thing Revis said that Marshall tripped and he touched him trying to keep himself up. To everyone that does not hate the Jets, Marshall clearly tripped.

In light of the short time its been since you've joined us, your use of "always" at best represents a limited sampling. Either way a word to the wise: on your next personal attack, strive for less transparent flummery.
