Les Brown hints at more two tight end sets in 2012 for the Fins

Will Yeatman is a freak of nature. He has hands almost 12 inches across. He needs experience.

Les Brown will make the team partly on special teams.

C Clay is fast for a FB but is a bit small for a full time TE.

Im not too sure a guy that has never played TE in his life and hasnt played football in 7 years or so will be a very good special teams player

Just another acorn Jeff picks up. He always seems to find a gem every year!

I do not think that running down the field and hitting someone on a kick off or return takes a large skill set.

I think Les Brown (at best) will only make the practice squad. I think most people forget we already have a raw athletic freak developing in Will Yeatman who we stole away from the Pats. In all honesty, its hard not to like the TE's we have right now. Anthony Fasano is the best blocking TE in football who has sure hands and can find the open spots in defenses. Charles Clay, boy am I excited about his upside, he is a match-up nightmare and has already shown a knack for big plays. Yeatman and Brown are both match up nightmares as well but both raw (Brown much more so) but if they can develop watch out.

I think our offense, minus Marshall can still be an explosive one if Clay has a breakout season I expect him to have. We know Fasano at very least will be productive and add Bush into the mix we present multiple match-up issues for the defense.

Its not exactly about skill set can the kid hit can he take a hit. Its a big jump from being a scrub NAIA player in basketball to playing actual NFL contact football

Two tight end sets are the wave of the future, Hopefully our stable of mediocre TE's can propel use into it..... I am very optimistic Les Brown can turn into something special though, 6'4", Former B-Ball player, Runs a 40 right up there with RG3. These are all great qualities, he just needs LOTS of Reps.
