Les Brown the most pathetic blocker of all time.

Didn't I hear 4.3 speed? For a TE?? If he can catch, he could be somethinbg when he learns to block. Is Aaron Hernandez known as a blocker?

The guy is a waste of time and taking up a spot for someone else who might have a real chance. The guy should be released immediately.

What was even more pathetic was Ireland defending that the guy is even here. Shows you that he cares more about "measureables" than he does actual football skills.

id like to see you come out from the street and do better.. Im not saying he doesn't need work or that he will make the team, but show the kid some respect you can tell he's giving his all..

Coming off the street you shouldn't be on an NFL roster. That's the point. Whether he's giving it his all or not, he's obviously not good enough.

if they don't cut him early they want to get him on the p squad...if he makes it thru a round or two of cuts thats got to be the plan...i can't wait til they show michael egnew in blocking drills ha ha

Sigh this title of the thread hurts me. And all I am going to say in reply is this. RUDY..RUDY...RUDY...RUDY...RUDY.

oooo, now all of a sudden, Dolphins fans think it is important to have TEs that can block.

What happened to "oMG, we need to release Fasano and find a pass catching TE!"?

iMO overreatcion from some of you: he is a project , it was obvious from the start, considering his background, he would have no fundamentals at all; we'll see in a couple of weeks, if he improves and how much.

Is Les Brown really as rare of an athlete as Ireland claims? I understand he has an intriguing combination of measurables, but when you watch him play that should show, right? Like Clyde Gates is fast, and at least you can see that on the field. Les Brown doesn't appear that fast, or strong, or that great of a jumper. Maybe the footage is limited, but he doesn't sound like he's even standing out as an athletic specimen.

To me it just sounded like Ireland making excuses for bringing this joke into camp...

Not me. People dont give fasano enough credit for his blocking. Hes a strong athletic dude who is a mean run blocker

there's a difference b/t being a serviceable situational blocker at te and being on your *** every time you engage someone... they should call that kid zamboni he was on the floor so much

He's got popcorn muscles that's for sure. Wouldn't expect him to get rag doll'd so much.

there's a learning curve there starting with his technique...it's awful...but miami doesn't have time to spend 2 years teaching that kid how to not get owned every time he makes contact...and he's a long long ways off in that regard...either p squad him cause no one else wants to put in that time either if you cut him i can tell ya that at least not to where they'd scoop him up and put him on the active 53 or cut him...

really it depends on how he looks these first 2 preseason games to me if he's fluid and athletic and looks like he's got some burst work with him some more...if those physical tools are no where to be found move on...or be ready to spend 2 years teaching the kid how to play football...the efforts great but everything else looks ehhh... if he becomes a player in 3 years oh well...you brought him in too raw i guess...
