Let's Get To Some Football---Kurt Warner on McD's "O"

Just like That deep TD to Hill in the Ravens game was the same deep play in the Bills game but to Waddle which led to the game winner.

That's one of the reason i think McD likes to show the same formations with motions. If you're defense isn't "discipline" they can make the deadly mistake of thinking "I've seen this before" and their fundamentals and responsiblities break down thinking they're getting ahead of "what's going to happen"

Here's the kicker..Sometimes they maybe right and a good OC..like McD remembers that player "cheated" on their responsibility and save that one in their back pocket.

Exactly like what you were describing before..

The X's and O's is stimulating..love that stuff!

It’s like a mirror offense with different plays from the same formation with players in different spots.

VR football not.there yet but at least its a start.

I really think that football in twenty years will be a full body VR sport. Great athletes in their responsive full body suits will continue to dominate at the highest levels but without the physical impact. No injuries in FBVR (full body virtual reality) but hits/tackles that cause a loss in virtual performance output. As airways, this is just my opinion.

Although a very small sample, that clip shows how much longer (we're not talking minutes here, so don't get panties in a wad) Teddy takes to diagnose and decide.

I doubt he will make a huge leap in processing, so McD has to trim back some of that fanciness and tailor it more to Teddy, of course.

Or run the hell out of the ball.

Good stuff here, for those that like Xs & Os. Love McD and this offense...

Warner lays out how his motion/alignments create different attacks from the same, or very similar looks.

Good ****. Always love his breakdowns. Been watching football for 40 years and to me McDaniels offense is something entirely different than I’ve ever seen. I love how more times than not our RB has some room at the line of scrimmage as he attacks it.

Looks just like Adam Gase’s offense!!! When will coach Mickey D sit on the bench w a pouty face and doodle during the games????
