Linehan makes me sick

If Feely was better he would be starting you know Feely must be pretty bad if Gus is as bad as you guys say and he still can't beat him out. Have ever been happy with any of our coaches or moves by our coaches you guys call yourself Miami fans and all you do is talk **** about the entire organization. Lighten up we probably have one of the best coaching staffs in Football now and I promise you they know what there doing and Saban not Linehan is making the decision. You guys complain about FO throwing the draft pick away on Feely and then same people that complains about him under performing complain about Gus, he's our best option. This is Feelys last year as a Dolphin and if isn't the starter by now he isn't going to be, give it up and support the starter for your team.

Sad but true fact: With the exception of the New England game last year, Feeley is amazing ONLY WHEN THERE IS NO PRESSURE.

When playing the second string defense and attempting to come back when they are already down 20 in games, he is the golden child. But throw him in with a chance to win a starting job in practice, win a starting job in the preseason, or actually win a friggin game in the regular season and he becomes a 3 int man.

Aj feeley = an extremely talented qb who chokes when he is given a shot more than Monica Lewinsky in a foot long sausage factory.

You want a sausage link? I had no idea that allusion to Monica Lewinsky would bring out such feelings in you.

you know what's sad? when some Feeley homer blasts Linehan.

Our offense looks SO much better then it has in years. The playcalls and formations are unpredictable and our line is actualy pushing people back.

But yeah, let's whine because Feelly isn't going to start. Seriously, get a clue.

Whatever dude. Lame post. I don't understand how all of you could be so blind. Yes, Linehan know offensive football and his schemes are awesome, but he is not a personel man. He is biased in this situation cause he brought Gus in to start. I'll admit Gus looked okay against Chicago, but since....blah. He stinks. Feeley is not great, but he can still develop. I agree with some of you that say Feeley will be starting a few games into the regular season.

Linehan has been right down the middle the whole time. Feeley sucked real bad last time he started. sadly, gus has sucked a little less...

Actually, he hasn't sucked. However, he got injured after 7 plays. I guess we are going to go back and blame Feeley for getting scaked by Urlacher on that delayed blitz.
I personally would like to see more of Feeley with the first team offense. Haven't seen it yet. He's looked pretty good with the second team.

Feeley only started 1 game. I believe he only had 7 offensive plays. I don't know how you can compare Feeley "starts" to Frerottes in this pre-season.

Gus is going to start on Sep. 11. When the OC makes excuses for the 1st string QB's below average performance, you know he has already been chosen as the starter.

Kind of makes you wonder if there ever really was a QB competition. AJ has steadily improved all preseason, while Gus seems to have gotten worse each game. Generally when there is a true competition for a spot, the guy who plays better ends up being the starter. I think Linehan had Gus marked down as his starter from the beginning. Let's just hope Gus can turn things around and start playing like he did the last 2 seasons under inehan.

Feeley only started the Bears game.. I dont recall him sucking real bad..

I think the only issue with Gus is his timing.

That's the only major fault i saw in this past game.

If his timig is down pat then those deep balls do not get overthrown

Maybe Linehan doesn't want to admit Gus is doing horrible because Gus is his guy. He obviously brought Gus with him, with all the QB's on the market I doubt Saban would have brought in Gus without Linehan as the OC.

All the QB's on the market?????? You do realize that JAY FIEDLER was regarded by many as the best available Qb this offseason!! Maybe Saban should have brought him in. :shakeno:

Not true at all. In Feeley's one start, he was 4 for 7 for 35 yards. He had one pass dropped by Derrius Thompson that would have been a 20 yard gain, and would have put us in scoring position. And they tried to run a screen on another play, but the defense blew up Ricky, so there was nowhere to go with the ball, and he threw it into the ground. So, on 6 legitimate pass attempts, he should have had 5 completions for over 50 yards. Feeley played well that first game. Since Frerotte has been the starter, in 3 games, he is completing 38.5% of his passes. I don't care about pocket presence, or knowledge of a particular system. A 38.5% completion percentage is not going to keep the chains moving, and it's not going to result in points.
