And thanks for proving my point by continuing to add nothing meaningful to the debate.
:bravo:

Well how about this. You go back to browsing Buffy homepages, with the other people 20 years younger than you, and I'll go back to talking football?

How would that be possible? You know nothing about football. Oh, then again, that hasn't stopped you so far.

P.S. And I happen to like girls 20 years younger than me, junior. Go back to mangling the English language and all semblance of rational thought. That's what guys your age are good at.

  • The facts are we are going to need both (if not more) QB's this season.
  • I would hope most want the "team" to have success and could care less which QB plays.
  • To take a postion on either guy based on what we have seen in the pre-season really doesn't serve much purpose as it's the coaches decision.
  • I don't care what the name says on the jersey... give me consistant play at the position with minimal mistakes..... period.
  • A QB in 2006 no matter what!

At the end of the day isn't this what we all want?

Who makes the decisions? SABAN.. SURE WELL THOUGHT OUT POST.. But you forget the most inportant factor. YOu arent being paid millions of $$$ to have a losing season to develop players. The entire organization is being paid to WIN. Regardless of talent on the roster.
SABAN wants Gus... LINEHAN want gus THE PLAYERS want GUS.

Feeley may have somehow shown you something that people that make their living off football have missed.. But hey good for you.

The day Feeley earns the job... Ill be behind him %100. I dont give a damn about developing a player during regular season. i dont give a damn how popular or upside he has.... i want my Miami Dolphins to try and win every damn game they can by putting the best players on the field.

Im no coach.. And neither is anyone on this board. But when Saban says Gus is starting ..Fine by me.... If he says Feeley is starting.. fine as well. But remember.. FEELEY ISNT STARTING FOR A REASON. AND ITS NOT LACK OF OPPORTUNITY.

And yet, I'll be the mature adult and end this here.

Thank you..... Still struggle with the fact so few care about the team and only have an agenda for a certain QB.... neither of which is the long term answer..... give me the guy who is consistant, makes good decisions and protects the ball... period

SABAN wants Gus...

8/24 Saban press conference

"Coach, did Gus take most of the snaps today with the number one team?"

Saban: "Ummm...he took quite a few."

"Have you made a decision yet on the starter?"

Saban: "No."

well i guess that's game set match on the qb controversy. gus took all the first team snaps and has been named the starter this weekend. i guess you were right when you said saban wants gus.
