Locker room interviews tell you something

i understand what ur saying but when u play for the NFL u would be FOOLISH to use that word freely and without conscience especially being as WHITE as cogz is.
the point of him being racist or not isnt the point, its the fact that he will look racist to MILLIONS of people for the sheer fact he is a WHITE man using a word that is RARELY heard from white celebrities...or white athletes for that matter,he dug his own grave here and i have zero remorse for it,im just speaking my mind about this but it doesnt reflect how i feel about the dolphins as a team, organization or anything because i love the dolphins and will continue to support THEM,if hes suspended he deserved it and as it looks hes never coming back to the team so why even waste ur time defending him!

Maybe the most racist thing I've seen you type today. lol

FWIW, from what I've seen none of the Fin players have had a bad thing to say about either Richie or Martin. The worst thing I heard about Martin was from Ellerbe and (paraphrasing) that was more "He didn't tell any of us that he was feeling uncomfortable. If he wants help I'm here for him, but I'm not going out of my way to get to him"

Lot's of great opinions here, from both siders of the "racist" argument. My thought is that maybe the voicemail is taken out of context, and maybe Ritchie was only doing this to make Martin play with a chip on his shoulder, but doesn't it seem incredibly stupid for any white NFL player to use the "N" word after the Riley Cooper incident? I've read that Offensive Lineman are the most intelligent in the NFL. Maybe that's what's wrong with our O-Line? Let's backfill with some smarter players please! I love to see the Phins in the news, but not like this!

The voicemail was from before the Cooper incident.
