Lol pathetic childish political in fighting is crippling this organization

Ok this is like the 3rd or 4th article claiming this bull****. I'm really getting sick of the dysfunctional narrative the media runs with regarding this franchise. Meanwhile, the pics of Martin at Tootsie's come out, and not a WORD out of Florio, Deadspin, ESPN, or anyone else. I'm sick of it. What happens if the Fins actually hire the best candidate available? What then media? What's the spin gonna be? **** these assholes.

There was some in-house fighting and problems involving Philbin/Aponte Vs Ireland. Ireland is now gone, so the problem and "mess" is also gone. Move along and don't worry about the past. The problem was corrected.

LOL. If it were that easy. The duo of Aponte and Philbin could very well repel quality GM's. So yes...there might not be infighting, but it does not mean the team is going to be anymore successful.

These half measures DOES NOT work. If Joe does not win next year, he is done. What are we doing then? Putting off for a year getting the house in order.

John Clayton articulates so well why forced marriages do not work and how the direction of team is going can leave a leadership void.

The team lost the problem of Ireland, but there are still as many issues going fwd.

I really hope you are right, but I think Aponte was/is just as much of an issue as Ireland. Of course we can look at this this way, she got rid of Ireland so now she can get all her people in. If it runs smooth and Miami does well, then great, but I have my doubts...

Deadspin is actually very objective and reliable believe it or not, and their writers are knowledgeable and well versed.
I'd trust them over most mainstream news outlets. They did leak the Brett Favre Penis-gate story lol.

OK.....so you give them credit off of a Brett Favre story that was "sold for cash" to them a few years ago?? I'll pass.

There was childish infighting, hence the firing of Ireland. I don't see it being an issue going forward since we fired the culprit.

Exactly. Ireland was incompetent and if Philbin didn't have any issue with his GM being incompetent then Philbin would also be incompetent by proxy. The fight to get a cancer off the team is a good thing people.

You need to consider the source of all of these articles that are bashing the Dolphins. In each article there is 1 source that is a common denominator. "Yesterday, Armando Salguero in the Miami Herald gave us a peek." He is an Ireland fan is obviously upset that Ireland is gone and now will try to put information out there to make Ireland look good.

And today it was Dave Hyde and James Walker on WQAM. I guess you missed these two huh.

Also a good point! Fuk them in their stupid asses

There should have been a thorough house cleaning that included Philbin and Aponte's heads rolling. This is utterly pathetic.

The corporate world is often dog-eat-dog. While the team goal may be the same, individual goals often involve moving up the ladder, and that doesn't happen if you're sitting in a corner singing "Kumbaya."

They are quoting Salguero, whose is so butt hurt over the fact that he lost his source that he is helping Ireland engage in a smear campaign against the team.

You too need to See Dave Hyde's acticle. LOL

Hayden, this could be a good thing man. Ross can sell it like this... here's the job, work with joe. For a year, feel em out, and if you don't like it, can his ass and hire your own crew, if you do, sweet, keep it together. Why couldn't thisactually be a good thing? Assuming aponte isn't in charge of the gm of course

We can only hope.

DawnJoe? You think a writer could come up with a better one. Armando is silly.

And he also says that fining a coach after 2 or 3 season is a recipe for failure.
