London Game - jet lag

It's a Raiders home game, not a Dolphins home game. You have the opportunity to play another team at a neutral site instead of in their building, why not?

As I understand it, the raiders left from NE whiteout going back to California. I could be wrong but that's what I read somewhere.

I see where the Raiders flew to London yesterday but the Dolphins fly out on Thursday. That seems a pretty big difference in approaches by the respective teams. There is a good chance that some players will have jet lag after an 8 hour flight.
Do you agree with the Dolphin approach or What Oakland are doing?

Usually the jet lag lasts for about 1 day. They should be fine. The time difference is only 5 hours. If you take a nap after dinner you can actually avoid the jet lag almost all together.

The Raiders are in a tougher situation. The went from the West Coast to the East Coast (3 hours difference), then back to the West Coast (3 hours difference) and then to London (8 hours difference).

Since I assume that both teams fly non stop Oaklands flight is also a couple hours longer.

That would make sense to me. Don't see the logic in playing in New England on Sunday, flying back to LA and having Monday as an off day and then flying to London on Tuesday.

I read somewhere the dolphins are flying Virginia Atlantic to Heathrow which is a 8 hour flight from miami

Correct. Here's the kicker: the Raiders apparently spent the week of the Patriots game over in the northeast, too.

You think those guys are thrilled to be on a 2 week road trip? Could actually work in our favor.
