What Sherman aspires to be
This is an easy question, it's Jake Long & it's not close. For those of you that say he's injured, well no duh. The question was would you have rather resigned Long last year (when he was healthy before the unforeseen ACL injury) or go the path we have now with Albert? Long was the #7 LT last year, +25.8 & played 15 games. Albert was #18 LT, +10.0 & played 12 games. Pass protection from our left tackles was horrible so both are a vast improvement (Long +7.1, Albert +14.4) but our run blocking needs the biggest fix & Long is head & shoulders above Albert (Long +14.8, Albert -2.4).
