Look around the league and then at us

Some people are just never happy. Our team has gone through a lot of of crap most teams don't. Our Offensive line has been a complete disaster. No consistency and have had more turnover than high school kids working at McDonald's. Patterson in/out on the active roster due to injury like a hobo at a brothel. Brandon Gibson done for year midway into season. Dustin Keller out for year before season started. Now RB2 Daniel Thomas out for year. We can arguably just call these all excuses, but the reality is that we have endured all this and can still make the playoffs. People are never sastified......even if they did grab a Snickers.

Dude. You are right. I am never happy when we lose to the Bills at Home. And choke 3 other games away this year. By the way what has Daniel Thomas ever done? You say that like he is part of the solution when we are 2-6 in our last 8. Oh yeah some people are just never happy not winning a playoff game in 13 years, and being irrelevant for the past decade. Bravo dude. More BS.

Most logical and rational people aren't pissed with Tannehill... they're mad about coaching, personnel usage, and the offense as a whole.

The fact that we have a bottom 10 OL, the fact that we have a non-existant running game, the fact that our coaching staff cannot make half time adjustments, the fact that our offense sputters...

So when Tannehill screws up, we're already annoyed. I haven't seen too many logical and level-headed fans calling for Tannehill's head... and anyone with a clue knows that he's shown enough that even if we get rid of all the coaches and GM, the new guy will give Tannehill a shot.

The problem lies in coaching, specifically offensively, and he may just get rolled into that complaint. He's far from elite, but the problem with our team lies on the shoulders of three men:

Philbin
Sherman
Ireland

:thanks::hclap::fhpotd::logic:

Our GM sucks. I am good w RT's development. We need a new GM above all else.

Dump 2 of 3...Sherman and Ireland.

Dump the OC that hand picked Tanny and put a new one that won't have a clue of what to do with him, or at best will take 3 more years for Tanny to dominate the system????

Ireland should be gone YESTERDAY, but if you want Tanny at QB, then find him a OL that can be at least mediocre, not this garbage we are seeing. Also need a power RB with some blocking skills. Our Defense is not good either, starting with our LB's, FS, SS and run stopping specialists.

Every season is different. Here is my point. If you can't endure it and are going to complain about it, then leave. Same thing I tell people when they constantly complain about their job. If you don't like it....quit. I don't have time or room for constant complainers who have nothing tangible to give to the cause. Referring to me as a 16 year old? Your the one crying....go join Jonathan Martin on his couch.....away from here. Again...DEUCES!

Another dumb reply.

The people who care the most are the people who get angry and demand better of what they care so much for.

If you had a kid who spent the last 10 years in and out of rehab and AA meetings , wouldn't you yell and demand better of that kid that you care so much for? This team is like a child to a lot of us.

Asking for consistent success doesn't seem to be too much to ask when the kid across the street, the New England Patriots, is capable of such. But we don't run across the street to be the parent of the Patriots. We demand better of our own.

LOL @ Deuces. Those posts were deuces.

I feel like it would be different if we were playing back and forth games against some of the best teams in the nfl not grasping them by the throat and letting a non call or a missed kick ruin the day and blow a huge lead over and over again. They always look at the QB for not saving the game or holding a lead.

Lots of folks here must live mediocre lives to be okay with a mediocre football team.

I demand excellence. They demand 7-9.

Problem is even without our drama of bullying, the OL is sub par. The team has failed miserably to effectively run the ball and convert in short yardage, goal line situations. This team is not built tough, it is built flashy but none of the flash is coming through on a consistent basis. We lack an identity on both sides of the ball.

What this team needs is a Senior Executive of football to take over day to day operations and have the GM and coach report to him. The exec can set a rudder to a rudderless franchise and provide the team a philosophy and direction.

truth OP, but those teams are on their way back to the pack; we're the 2nd youngest NFL squad... we're supposed to be on the rise.

look ma, no boner.

I think there are two groups of Dolphin fans (or Cleveland fans or any other team that has been completely irrelevant for over 10 years), those that see the trend over the last decade or so and the fact that it is continuing AND ARE ****ING SICK AND TIRED OF BEING ****ING SICK AND TIRED OF IT, and those that look at each individual season in a vacuum and hope that somehow the crap you're seeing is gonna turn out differently.

Personally, I'm in the former category, I'd like to think that eventually we'll get somebody up at the top that can build a solid foundation for a franchise that is competitive year in and year out (like the Pats).

I don't see that in this organization, you have a different cast of characters, making the same mistakes, playing the same 50/50 crap football that we've been forced to endure for a decade.

Couldn't agree more. I'm ****ing sick and tired too.

Some of those teams have been to the playoffs in recent years, or won a super bowl in recent years. They come back to the pack, and then excel again. We on the other hand. stay irrelevant year after year. If your hoping that every year an 8-8 team will qualify for the playoffs, your nuts. There have been years that 10-6 didn't get in. The Pats, no matter what players they have, or injuries they endure, continue to find a way to get it done. Try comparing yourself to the best teams, not the other teams that are struggling like us. I am sorry, but a team that treats the 20 point mark, like it's trying to break the sound barrier with a paper airplane, is not a good team. The rules in the nfl have been geared for scoring, and we have trouble scoring. To me this team looks just as inept as it was during the Sparano years, and worse in some areas.

Look at all the teams outside the division leaders nobody is in control.

Are you operating under the impression that the frustration being expressed here is about just this season? This team has been irrelevant for two decades and the current regime has done nothing to change that. Stop making excuses for 20 years of mediocrity.
