Lots of hype about Jordan Love being a top 10 pick. I don't necessarily disagree. His skills are enticing and he may have been in a situation where he wasn't getting the best coaching. I think most scouts view him as a bit of a project with a very high ceiling.

To me, there's a drop off after Burrow and Tua with Herbert being the clear #3 option. I think there's another drop from Herbert to Love and Hurts. Not sure why Hurts isn't getting more "love." Skill set wise, I think he is actually similar to Love. Love clearly has the better arm strength. Hurts is the better athlete, although Love is definitely an athlete as well. Hurts gets the nod on decision-making, having success with two major programs etc.

Am I missing something, or are these two closer than what we are hearing from "media scouts?"

Both are projects. And not overwhelmed by either

Miami rushing Love in pre-ban could be an indicator of who they are prioritizing at the QB position....Or it could all be an elaborate rouse. Praying for it to be just more smoke.....

I'm at the point where I don't really care who they select as QB. I just want him to be the right pick for the Dolphins and lead us to Championships. I was re watching the LSU/ Bama game and Tua was just coming back from an ankle and it was a problem because he wasn't full speed. Is that always going to be the situation with Tua? When's he coming back? Will he just keep getting hurt in the bigger and faster NFL? I do wonder if a Tua pick would backfire. If he's there at 5 I'm taking him because we need to take a bold gamble sometime.

I will take love. Quick released and can scramble. He might be all right in nfl. Fix oline add Rb..dolphins need qb coach. If they going that route.. I would try steal one off k.c qb coach..
