Monroe. Albert. Veldheer. Collins. Must get one.
 
It's a double edged sword come to think of it. If Ravens don't retain Monroe and hopefully we sign him, look for Ravens to go after Z Martin or trade up in first for one of the top LTs

If true then scratch Veldheer and now Albert off that list as they will have signed elsewhere. That leaves Monroe (my personal favorite) or Collins if we want a top pass protector at LT from free agency. If we do not fill that need via FA, that puts a lot of pressure on us to trade up for Taylor Lewan.
 
While not the only team, I think Arizona was our biggest competition for LT. If anywhere near true, then I'm hoping that means we are likely to get Monroe and they went after their next best option. Like others have said, my biggest fear is that Monroe and Veldheer get signed back with their current teams and use the FA period to set the market on how much they have to pay and we end up on the outside looking in with NO decent OT left to get and then get desperate in the draft.

That's not possible. Daytona posted a 1 minute mile. Usaine Bolt mutters under his breath about Daytona before every race.

This is because the bar is set pretty low by the previous GM......I hope we get used to good managing pretty soon.

TRUE , and if that would have been Pouncey or some other player on the Dolphins , we would have had the media and everyone else up our ass , Tampering is for just the rest of the NFL , Miami dose it and we have Killed some body the rest of the league dose it , and its nothing ....Step up Rodger and do your job , you are getting paid enough to .....
 
I hope him and Monroe get snatched up and overpaid before we even get to sniff their way... Waste of cap for both.

Yea...I can see that going over SUPER WELL with the fan base. There would be a thundering uproar of ridicule and complaining aimed at our new GM and this team. you would have to talk people down off the ledges
 
I'm not worried. We can always bring back McKinney if the price for OT gets crazy, he was more than serviceable last year and wasn't in the best of health. Wouldn't mind him coming back for the vet minimum for depth at the least.

God no. He wasn't good really.. Somewhat average but when you compare him to Martin of course he seemed serviceable
