Mad At O-Line

I knew most of you couldn't judge an offensive line to save your life. This proves it. Every free blitzer is an offensive lineman's fault to some of you guys. Every time there is a guy free to make a tackle is a lineman's fault to some of you guys. That isn't the case at all.

That's not the case at all, and I really don't have the time to explain to you what actually happens on the OL.

But yet you had time to post this..... :shakeno:

No offense to your post, but when I see the line of scrimmage being pushed constantly in one direction, I call that domination.

And it is quite obvious that the "free blitzer" isn't what we are referring to, it's just as much, if not more, of the QB's responsibility to make the right read.

WE HAVE NOT IMPLEMENTED OUR SCHEMES TO STOP BLITZES AND BEARS BLITZED EVERY PLAY!!! There, that is the reason why our O-line looks ehh. I was actually impressed with the O-line for their first preseason game.

I think next week will be the real test. Jacksonville's D-line is great, and correct me if i'm wrong but they don't blitz very much. If that's the case then we will really see if it's our guys or the bear's blitzing scheams...

I know we did not implement our real blocking schemes but our offensive lineman all look overweight and out of shape. I guess tha's what Training Camp is for but damn some of those guys are as gig as elephants but as quick as snails.

Wow ... personally, I thought the OL didn't look half bad. (shrug)

dude lay off the hippy lettuce and come to your senses. as a whole from top to bottom the offensive line did not look good tonight.

What were you watching?

As KB said in another thread...they were getting hats on people.

The pass protection was good...the BACKS were not picking up the blitzes.

News to everyone...it is not the O-lines fault everytime there is a sack or a bad play.

I must say that eventhough I thought the O-line looked better then I thought they would for the first preseason game I am dissapointed at the run blocking. Pass blocking was decent and will get much better when we implement the real schemes and not this helmet on helmet preseason crap. I just dont know how much better the run blocking can get with a new scheme.

I actually thought that they looked better in pass protection, but still pathetic in run blocking. Im not disappointed at where there at. I know that we will be much better than last year
