I would hope this is not the Saban defense. It has been vinilla as far as I can tell. Even the blitzes have seemed straight up blitzs with very few wrinkles.

Did he address why he was out there on punt coverage by any chance? I figured that had to be a mistake in the play by play, but it actually was him.

I know Surtain used to play on the punt coverage team as a jammer.

I didn't see madison out there but I wouldn't be suprised if he was playing a role like that of surtain

He was the guy who committed the penalty on the punt after the offsetting penalties.

That Miami is holding back its defensive game plan MUST be the reason I continue to see Madison miss tackles its 2 in 3 weeks where a RB simply runs bye him no juke .. no stiff arm .. nothing just simply run bye #29.

God thats disgusting to see a player of his reputation play with such little hart.

Well he is a veteran and perhaps he's not willing to sacrifice his body for a meaningless preseason game.
