Makes me sick too

You know what.....Sparano. Cry me a river. Youre paid to coach not to make personal commentary. You make a salary that is greater than 99% of the public, sorry if you are disappointed. What makes me sick is the continuance of this mentality of "we can get by with this guy". I dont agree with people booing Henne at practice...we should have booed your sorry ***

Thank youuu! What makes me sick is ****ing eternal mediocrity, piss poor offensive gameplanning, and God awful QB play. Don't want to get booed? Stop sucking!!!

What makes me sick is the fact that the beat writers, who blew the whole thing out of proportion anyways, didn't want to let the story die and asked Sparano about it, when there are far more interesting and important things to ask about.

Doesn't this guy have bigger problems then what the fans chant? Tony you ****ing schmuck the vans need to be booing you and chanting fire the fist pumper! Embarrassing absolutely ridiculous! Just like the last great NFL coach to call out his fans Sam Wyche!

He was asked.

I certainly understand supporting our players and we shouldn't be chanting discouragement towards them. We should want our current players to succeed.

However, the chanting for Orton is just a by-product that comes from the frustation of losing. The fans chanting for Orton, and many who don't, are ready to return to being a winner again.

And people were shocked that the team played better on the road last year than at home. It's getting to the point that you have a lot more negativity to deal with when you're home than when you're on the road. It's not just going on in Miami, you see it with a lot of teams in all sports.
The excuses for this guy just don't end. Now not only is it Parcells's fault, Henning's fault, Bonemega's fault, etc.; it's now also the fans' fault.

The fans aren't the reason we still don't have a QB and still don't have a settled o-line, despite that apparently being the staff's most important unit. It's not the fans' fault that we are looking like we may be going into the season with a rookie RB and injury prone 3rd down back as our rotation. It's not the fans' fault he uses 1980's and 90's approaches to offence, only to settle for field goals if his answer at QB doesn't throw an INT first. It's not our fault he can't manage the game clock to save his life.

The excuses never end.

After the 99 season? After that season, Cowher had qualified for the playoffs 6 of 8 seasons, made 3 conference title games, and 1 Super Bowl.

LOL at comparing him to Sparano and his one fluke playoff season, ready to head into the campaign with Josh McCown until Pennington fell out of the sky, facing seemingly one of the easiest schedules in league history, and getting bounced hard out of his one playoff game...

Regardless, steeler fans wanted a change. I was there. In a house full of about 15 fans every sunday. We're talking about irrational football fans here. No one cared that they made the super bowl 4 years ago. They saw the team as on a decline.

This.

All the coach is doing is supporting his player. Whatever Henne's qualifications, it is up to the coach to do his best to support, encourage, and motivate him so that, if possible, he can exceed his apparent limitations. Rex Ryan does this for his players and they love him. Do you think Sanchez excels without his coach having his back? Players feed off of the support they get from coaches, other players, and the fans. It's human nature. Spewing hateful nonsense, Dolphin fans are getting the crappy team they deserve.

I look at Cowher's resume after that 99 season and I'd compare it favorably to Andy Reids current resume( a couple of non-playoff years mixed in with alot of success, plenty of conf title games and a SB appearance). There will always be irrational fans calling for the HC's head unless the team wins it all(as a Heat fan, there are other fans of the team that want Spo gone), but most fans will agree that firing Reid is silly and totally irrational.

I'm not sure most fans/media/coaching peers would give it a second thought if Sparano was dismissed.

called out probably isn't the right words on my part. He said it wasn't cool and the fans should give him a chance with the full team and also how he's still learning the playbook. Also said that he's going up against a top d so nothing is coming easy

I can agree with that. I disagree with the booing and chanting, though it is an expected outcome of continued disappointment. It's may not be Henne's fault that he can't be a starting QB in this league. Not many can. I don't blame him for continuing to try so long as he's given a chance by an inept FO and HC.
