Plus I guess ego management, game management, managing coaches and personalities, drafting winners, player development systems, trade decisions (see Wes Welker) influencing and exploiting rule changes, motivating guys, creating innovations like reinventing the tight end - rejuvenating Randy Moss’ career - Jr Seau - I mean seriously your frame is SO the world is flat!!!!

Dude you win 8 SB in the NFL as a DC and a head coach it puts you in the genius category - he’s a cheater to an extent or I’d argue he was better then Shula…my goodness!!

No, I still think it was all Bilichick.

Over the last 20 years he developed an incredible coaching staff, who in turn developed what many thought were average players into superstars.

Brady took it on himself to improve his performance in 2 areas every off season and he took good care of his body and mind and grew into the best overall QB I've ever seen. It was a combination of his personal drive, coupled with a team that used him to maximum effectiveness that got his to where he is now.

Over the last 2 decades, patriot players developed and then moved on in FA. The same kind of turnover occurred with his coaches, only later - to the point all his key coaches have left in the last 7 years.

Bilichick is now losing players and coaches faster than he can replace them. He would have been wiser to become the GM and bring in a new HC, than to remain as the HC for too long.

I'm sure that Bilichick is getting less flexible in his behavior and focus at this point in his life. I hope for his sake that he retires soon and can enjoy what he has earned.

The best coach on Belichick’s staff the years Tom Brady was a Patriot was Tom Brady himself.

If a player screws up, Tom would be on them and getting them to run it again until they got it right.

Tom, like Peyton Manning, make coaches look better than they are. Hell, Peyton made Adam Gase look like a genius. And then we experienced Gase without Peyton.

Tom also could have demanded being the highest paid player in football, but almost always took less giving them more cap space. And players follow Brady as evident when he went to TB, not so they could play for Belichick.

No one hates these FACTS more than me! I have felt tortured by BB forever - watching Garrapolo put up 35 points against us! I mean seriously - BB destroyed us - made us look terrible - he single handedly has led to the Dolphins needing to consider leaving the state of Florida he has destroyed us so badly....And I mean in terms being able to win anything meaningful in the NFL - even getting into the playoffs!!!

Oh my goodness - Miami has meaningless wins - the jackass Super Bowls while BB literally won Lombardy after lombardy while the dolphins ran in circles pooping our perverbial diapers we had a one and 15 season - we were trash while BB was stealing our players and winning against us with them then cutting them like trash…

BB played 3D chess with innovative drafting, trading, and personnel decisions - they became thought leaders - the whole NFL was chasing BB - people wanting to somehow diminish BB’s STAGGERING coaching records are only revealing their lack of understanding about how hard it is to be King.

Even if your country is rich in resources you must be a wise and cunning king to stay on top. It sure helps to have good Generals and Brady was one of them - but stewarding that winning process belongs 100 percent to BB.

He will be studied for several generations - deservedly so - even tho he’s on my last nerves!!!!
