Martin sounds like a sissy..plain and simple really. I haven't even payed that much attention so I'm not sure if this is just about money or what. Nobody held a gun to his head if that's the case, and if it's hazing, grow the **** up man. You're an adult getting payed a good amount of money.
 
Schefter is like a teenage girl with the gossipy bull**** he floods espn with to keep his job safe; and Jonathan Martin is like a teenage girl for the way he handled this.

There's no room in the NFL for either of them

One things for sure, there`s no question who the distraction his, and its not Incognito. I`d bet my house that the whole locker room is in Incog`s corner right now...
 
Soooooo to some here the girl got raped because she was dressed as a whore mentality is ok. Victim blaming is still victim blaming. It is is illegal for pay to play scams no matter if they happen on the streets of New York or in NFL locker rooms. Also these are grown men playing a professional sport that are paid a lot of money not to act like a frat house during pledge week. This is above and beyond rookie hazing this is a culture of stupidity that has been allowed to fester and now look what has happened it has ****ing ruined a whole team. How about instead of blaming Martin of finally coming clean in what has been a obvious unprofessional work environment and point to the real problem of what has become a childish and ridiculous and very harmful practice that is everywhere. Holy **** this is why there can't be a homosexual player because this is what he will have to face? The ignorance of bigotry and because Martin didn't march to the same beat he was treated as a outcast, where the **** is your humanity??? Calling him a sissy is not the answer you should be defending his ****ing inalienable human rights that he deserves. You can't be lawyer and tell your associates fetch me coffee and pay me not to pull your pants down in the ****ing real world why the **** is it acceptable in a NFL lockeroom?? Over some caveman code of stupidity are you ****ing serious???
 
People have to remember too that the rookie wage scale really killed incoming players salaries if you were drafted outside of the top 10. So if this is over money and veterans are taking it to the rookies then there is an issue here. In reality there probably is merit to the fact that it's probably a bunch of frat style pranks and what-not but it came out that Philbin was given notice about the issues and it didn't stop. So either we have a potentially serious issue here that was swept under the rug because Philbin didn't believe there was much to it and Martin is potentially over sensitive or it's that our lockeroom is childish. Remember the NFL is no different than any work environment. If you work in the corporate world then you are fully aware of what can get you sent to an HR rep whether you think the infraction is dumb or not.

I can attest to the fact though that the younger generation appears many times to not have the coping skills to be able to handle adversity like generations past. Just an observation through people I have hired and worked with. Not mutually inclusive of everyone but I have seen this in people 16-25ish.

Well good chance they were in on it so doesn't matter whose corner they are in. If Martin did go to Philbin in the Spring and nothing was don't we are screwed!

It's not helpful in any situation. Empty seats are a good measure of how entertaining and candid and creative and fan friendly this organization has been lately.

The reporters need to push, push and push some more. If Dawn Aponte thinks she can be Philbin's mouthpiece, then those same reporters need to be on Aponte's doorstep in the morning and take quotes from her. And then if she shies away from it, that will be on camera also.
 
Over sensitive??!! it's unacceptable behavior period, your not allowed to tweak your secretary's ass, or bully anyone anywhere why is it acceptable in a NFL locker room? Stop ****ing blaming the victim here It's wrong PERIOD you don't get to get away with it in a white collar office and shouldn't be able to get away with in a locker room it called EQUAL ****ING PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW. Nobody likes it because it makes the Dolphins look bad, so be it wrongs have to be made right and it has to come at the expense of those who have abetted it and ignored it and let it become the monstrosity it has become now and we all want to blame the guy who turned the light on these ****roaches?? You as a friggin decent human being you're supposed to give other decent human being respect that called a society and now we're calling the guy pointing out the ugliness a rat a sissy, over sensitive? Martin should be praised for pointing out this ridiculous practice , whistle blowing isn't a crime its an act of bravery. Look beyond the uniforms this is spotlight on how bad this team is run from Philbin to Ireland those are your criminals, they failed this team they failed Martin they failed us the fans by making us a laughing stock because they don't know how to run a proper organization.

Sometimes it can be a good thing. But when even Bill Belichick makes you look tight-lipped, it's absurd.

But, 100% agreed on the empty seats comment. At some point, the idiots running the show in Davie must understand that the the #1 point of access for the fans is the media. And they have to give reporters something now and then. Treat them like human beings -- heck, make them feel special. Do nice things for them, give them scoops, give them info. Because that will change the way they cover the team, and in turn it will change the way the FANS see the team.

It also appears to be a heck of alot easier than putting a winning team on the field which is the only other thing that would affect the empty seat situation.

I gotta be honest with you, if I wasn't a Miami native who lives here and grew up loving this team, I wouldn't support or care about them at all.

It continues to amaze me how a bunch of people who are involved in a multibillion dollar business can **** things up so badly on a nearly continuous basis.
