Mando: Farmer 'most impressive' GM interview so far

I feel Lional Vital could make things interesting if he doesn't take the Bucs job.

Only negative is that in terms of RUNNING a draft, Farmer has done it once (this past year in Cleveland after being hired in March), and he only had 5 picks to work with.

BUT he's been a highly respected member of the war room for KC.

If anyone has already posted it already I apologize, but do we know who he drafted, personally in KC?

He didn't draft anybody, some KC fans have said he was heavily involved in Peterson's last draft, but I think he's mostly the pro guy

So.... why is this the guy we want, exactly?

I keep looking at his bio and I just can't see where he stands out in any department.. Licht or Vital blows this guy out of the water with their experience.

Guys look at KC and tell me they aren't one of the most talented teams in the league. Farmer did great the only thing he didn't do was get a QB thanks to polio? The guy from the pats who brought matt cassell with him

Honest answer is we have no idea how anybody will do as GM. Jeff Ireland was seen as a wonderkid in Dallas when we named him GM. Phil Savage was supposed to turn the Browns around. People laughed at the Lions for promoting Martin Mayhew (and he's done a great job getting talent).

No idea how things will play out until they play out

How the **** would Mando know now that he's burned all his Davie bridges?

Ain't that the truth, he Actually gets paid to do what your average internet troll does in a daily basis.

He really is a bottem of the barrell human being.

I just mentionrd this is another thread, seems rare coaches or execs get to bring there winning ways eith them.

We need to do whats best for the team and give up chasing big names, that's been going on way to long.

I don't think he's run a draft before, he was an assistant. This would be his first draft as GM, in Miami.

if farmer is top choice then it seems Peterson is the most important man in the search or at least the one with most influence

He does sound impressive. Browns beat writers want to keep him and media is usually negative.
