Mando: Farmer 'most impressive' GM interview so far

Sorry, anyone even remotely involved with picking Brandon Weeden, and then Trent Richardson, only to send him off right away...
Firing your coach after just 1 year, when Hoyer got hurt early in the year?

Good lord.

That franchise is more inept than the Fins.

Farmer has only been in Cleveland this past year. He was at KC until then. The selection of Weeden and Richardson were done before he walked in the joint. However he may have had a hand in the evaluation of Richardson that sent him to Indy.

Thx for sharing. I was not aware that Farmer was one of these guys who believe that the game is strictly for christians. This is a bit scary if he is committed to a strictly christian agenda. I bet that no-one prayed harder than Tim Tebow but he only had a pass completion percentage of 47%.

I have no problem with giving him a chance but not sure what he has done to set himself apart from the other potential hires.

Gotta lay the ground floor for all your future posts concerning him? Smart, very smart!

What the Browns did over the past year does not make a lick of sense, their HC did not stand a chance to succeed the way they managed the cap and then they traded one of their best players on offense. If Farmer thought any of that was a good idea then he's a donkey, maybe even worse than Ireland. Then again maybe Farmer wants out of there because he's smart enough to realize he's working under a donkey.

What best player?

What best player?

Not saying they didn't get good value but I'm sure Chud could have used Richardson more than the draft voucher. The trade was OK but castrating the team then firing the coach for not performing was pretty ****ty.

Richardson was running for 3.4 ypc when he was there and if you'll remember they won the next 3 games after they traded him. It wasn't until Brian Hoyer went down for the season that they tanked. Richardson has also done nothing since being traded to Indy. He averaged 2.9 ypc and his one carry against the Chiefs he fumbled, in 3 carries against the Pats he had 1 yard.

Look up Trent Richardson and tell me you don't get hits saying he's a bust...#3 overall pick and a career 3.3 ypc average...that's worse than Daniel Thomas by the way. He wasn't even close to the best player on the Browns squad. I believe that distinction probably belongs to Joe Thomas, Josh Gordon, Alex Mack, maybe even Joe Haden...but it wasn't Richardson.

As for firing the coach after one year that was the owner's doing and it was stupid.
