Mando: Ross' Request for Review Puts People on Notice

Ross wants to know if Martin went to Philbin or Ireland...

Fireable offense if he did and nothing happen.

Incognito is gone...the team already said he can't survive even if all of this was said in jest...its on record....and Martin will not survive, he knows this and this is why he is going out this hard,

what kind of person keeps text/voicemail for 7 months???? a rat!!! thats who

In every job you are expected to produce, if not you are fired! I don't feel sorry for any of them if they get fired. Keep in mind, they are getting paid mighty well also!

It's just one data point but it was a demonstration of compassion toward a rookie who they were trying to "get through to". Did the kid run to momma?
- Philbin/Ireland/Aponte/Ross/Jennifer Lopez/whoever - are doing what they think they have to do to quell this sh+tstorm. They don't even believe in what they are doing - this is the part that infuriates me the most. I would not have suspended Richie. In fact, if they are going to do that, they should suspend themselves as they are the ones accountable for the team's behavior and image
- Martin is being an opportunist here and trying to get as much money as he can - sorry but at this time I do not see him as a victim.

I reserve the right to flip-flop on my feelings toward Martin and Incognito as more is revealed but right now I think Martin is a total d_ckbag for doing this in the middle of the season. F him!

I agree with most everything you say, to a degree. However, the team has no choice but to suspend Richie, he violated harassment laws and they know about it. If they don't, they would be liable for a huge sum of money and may still be held liable, regardless.

Question, after a player went nuclear with his locker room and clearly went on the offensive to nuke the coaching and front office ... would you hire him? I doubt any NFL team picks him up, except the Patriots for a 6 week stint to get as much info out of him as they can before they cut him. I'm not just asking football ... because clearly that career is over for him. But in a real job, after he spends the rest of his 2nd round salary's guaranteed money ... would any boss hire the guy? I kinda doubt it.

For a bright and well educated kid ... he doesn't seem to be making the best career decision.

You are going to hear most veteran players refer to this as a failure of locker room leadership. Most players view the locker room as their locker room. It is the culture they govern. This is a failure of veteran leadership on this team.

Some,would say a smart person.There would be no credibility without because no teammate has backed him as of yet.

For the record, I still want to see more information come out. I am not convinced of Jonathan Martin's motives in this still. However, there is such a **** storm that I do not think in the end the Joe Philbin, the coaching staff and Jeff Ireland survive. There is too much heat.

Jonathan Martin is certainly destroying more people off of the field then he did on it.

I'm going to laugh so hard when no one is talking about this in a week... Ridiculous statement...

No one is getting fired for this unless some huge addition to this story breaks. Like suppression of information. Which isn't going to happen.
