Mando: Steve Ross not Worried About O-line

What is really compelling is why you need to always defend the organization...I doesn't matter who it was...Ireland...Ross...whoever...you always defend them...even when they are completely wrong. Open you eyes little one...
How exactly is Ross "completely wrong" here?

Is this actually surprising to anyone? The best RT available in FA is Clabo and he was horrible last year

He owns the team, he can answer that question any way he wants. It isn't like he gave anything away, anyone with a brain knows the Dolphins are going to use a draft pick(s) on lineman and most likely it will be for the RT position. He didn't say the Dolphins are using their first round pick on a RT, just said the draft. In a deep lineman draft that could mean a first round pick, a second round pick or even a third round pick. If you have a problem with it, you just need to get over it. If Jimmy Haslam, Shahid Khan or Bob McNair said their team was going to get a quarterback in this upcoming draft, no one would have an issue with that statement. What makes Ross any different other than the fact that you don't like him?

You want a owner to complain about, how about Woody Johnson of the Jets. He clearly broke NFL tampering rules by discussing publicly today about having interest in DeSean Jackson.

You don't need to criticize Ross every time he opens his mouth.

Just because Woody is a bigger fool than Ross doesn't make me feel good about our ownership situation......maybe if he kept his mouth closed he wouldn't get criticized.....hire football people let them make the decisions and then hold them accountable

You need to find a new "winning" team. I'm frankly tired of your rants and pessimistic talk. I don't care how long you've been a Dolphins fan..... It's time for you to go.

Waaaaaaaaaa. Deal with it. I'm not the one running this train wreck. I'm just one that has my eyes open. You should try it.

I have not said much about Hickey yet, because I do not just jump to conclusions. But with Ross...it isn't exactly "jumping to a conclusion" calling this guy a moron when it comes to football.

The fact that you can't see why is your problem...
You're just crying for the sake of crying. Every single year our ownership comes out and comments on the draft. It's never affected us. Quit having your panties in such a bunch about something so trivial.

I think/hope Ross has NFI what he's talking about since Hickey doesn't let him into these types of meetings. So considering that, I don't care what Ross says, since I like to think he isn't privy to this information anyway. But it's best that he doesn't answer these questions with any detail to start with.

As much as I have disliked Ross as an owner to this point, not even sure what the fuss is about on this. Of course Ross is not worried about the oline that's what he has people in place for. He is not the GM like Jerry jones. I don't care if he said we will take a RT in draft because people see smokescreens wherever they want. Very little of what goes on is some high level diversionary tactic. Players will get drafted basically wherever a team wants them or wants to move up for them. Every year I hear how we fooled everyone with a smokescreen but I very much doubt Gms are as naïve as we think, except Oakland's lol. Last year if Philly really wanted Jordan they had the chance to move up one spot and did not see the value in doing it because they lose another potential starter, its not like they didn't know that Oakland was floating the pick and were totally shocked.
I very much doubt that Ross knows much about any RT's , he is the owner and he has his underlings that handle all this.

Ross being a moron once again...he should keep his mouth shut and say, "the people have have put in place to take care of these decisions will take care of it. I trust their decision." That is all the moron has to say...

People like Ross say stuff and they don't even realize how stupid they are. The guy will never stop opening his mouth and inserting his smelly foot in it

Ross probably said he wasn't worried about the o-line last year either until Tannehill was sacked a thousand times.

We'll put some pads on and take some live snaps Mr Ross. We'll see how worried you are then. In all seriousness, we shouldn't be too worried cause we have 6 picks and plenty of money to bring in FA stop gaps if we're not satisfied with the Draft. Worse case scenario we could bring back Clabo or McKinnie until the rookies are ready.

This thread reminds me of arguing with an idiot. Can't even have the talk unless you define worried.
I'm glad he is not worried. As well, I'm sure Ross can go to any meeting he wants.

Well that makes 1 person that's not worried.

You think so? Wasn't he the one that reportedly vetoed the big contract Jeff Ireland would have given to Kyle Orton?

worst case scenario u describe is pretty bad so we basically just roll with a horrible rt until a rookie is ready. What if our rookie is like Dallas Thomas lol. Clabo and Mckinnie should not be rewarded for plying among the worst at their positions

not sure there have been as many successful smokescreens as people would think although nobody ever talks like they didn't get the guy they wanted.
The only one I can think of working was Minnesota when they conned us out of a draft pick to move up for Vernon Carey
