Mando: Steve Ross not Worried About O-line

Can we please put up a spoiler warning? I wanted the draft to be a surprise. i had no idea that miami would take a tackle in the draft. fml

Here is what is funny. If Ross stated that the line was possibly set and no other changes and additions were needed, people would ring his neck.

I'm still trying to figure out what was wrong with what Ross said.
"I'd be worried if it was all taken care of by now," Ross said Sunday after he arrived at the NFL annual meeting. "We know it has to be addressed and it will be addressed the right way."

Ross said the Dolphins have a plan for addressing the line and added, "We'll get a right tackle in the draft and then we'll see what else he have to get."

You need to find a new "winning" team. I'm frankly tired of your rants and pessimistic talk. I don't care how long you've been a Dolphins fan..... It's time for you to go.

Don't agree at all, this team deserves fans to be pessimistic after last season, while we were rooting them on and thinking the OL was going to get better as the season went on because everyone knew how poor the play was and would put the work in that was necessary to get better, instead they were goofing off, holding OL meeting at strip clubs and mentally abusing OL teammates, possible drug use and how the FO knew going into the season the LT was mentally unstable but put the franchise QB health in jeopardy by not making a move earlier......I have no problem with fans saying prove it to me on the field before you gain my trust back......

But I do love the smoking baby LMFAO....

You think so? Wasn't he the one that reportedly vetoed the big contract Jeff Ireland would have given to Kyle Orton?

Wasn't he the one who approved Jeff Ireland in the first place? An owner shouldn't have to step in on personnel matters. I'm not saying Ross screwed up big time here, but yeah he sucks at football ownership (so far). Bottom line is that our performance under Ross has been terrible. The team did better under HWH, if that tells you anything.

No one gets to say someone else can't be a fan of this team. That's garbage.

Sounds like we'll be going Martin in the 1st... I doubt it's a smokescreen.. Ross isn't all that smart to play those kinds of games.

A lot of draft board shuffling across the league this morning after the stunning news that Miami is drafting an offensive lineman in May.

The league thought we were drafting a tackle last yr with the first pick.......they're still laughing at us about that one......sometimes its best just to keep quiet....That is what I loved about Parcells and Belicheat, you didn't know what they were going to do until they did it.....

wait a minute- so you're saying these "realists" with their "eyes open" will complain no matter what happens??? shocking...

No. That was Wayne Huzienga and Bill Parcells.

not sure there have been as many successful smokescreens as people would think although nobody ever talks like they didn't get the guy they wanted.
The only one I can think of working was Minnesota when they conned us out of a draft pick to move up for Vernon Carey
conned us? IDK, it looked like it at the time, but then rick has/had a job with them didn't he? maybe he was just helping his future boss.

Philly isn't laughing, they are still talking about Jordan

Martin or Lewan....one should fall to 19. I doubt all 4 top tackles go before 19 in this draft. And if they all do, then you take the BPA...because it means someone fell because of their position that shouldn't still be there.

He approved Ireland because he kept him and then gave him an extension. Huzienga gave complete control to Parcells

They damn sure are not offering us what we gave to get him. They wouldn't give up a pick to mve up last year. Im sure they have interest but not as much to give up more than their late first

The question I responded to was not if Ross approved of Ireland, it was who approved of Ireland in the first place.
