Mando: Steve Ross not Worried About O-line

While I do think he should just keep his mouth shut I don't really think this is that big of a deal. The only thing that concerns me is that he said that he is not worried about the o-line. I for one am very worried.

I don't think our o-line right now is better than last years at all.

Yes it is. First of all, we didn't have a left tackle worth a damn. Brandon Albert alone makes our line better because we didn't have one side of our offensive line that was a strength. Smith is better than John Jerry. Incognito's slow footed ass is not on this team anymore so that's a major plus because he was getting beaten like a drum off the snap. We just need a right tackle and we're straight. Our offensive line is a hundred times better.

What do you guys expect him to say?

Smh you guys take every word so literally, it's pathetic, trying to turn everything into so god damn end of the world scenario. Like a bunch of insecure girlfriends that turn nothing into a belief there getting cheated on. Stop this nonsense already.

Why the hell would the Fins trade for a LT? They just signed Brandon Albert.

Also, what picks are you going to get that give as much production as Wake, a top 5 pass rusher in the NFL? There is not one person in this draft or on the Fins roster who can do what he does. So once again you are playing the shell game.

Jordan is going to be much more than a rotational player this year and in the future. Like I said if you watched the games you would see what the coaching staff has in plan for Jordan as they used him in a variety of positions, ie. DT, LB, and DE. Also please tell me who the hell else in the NFL is able to cover TE's like he showed he could last year?

Have some patience for Christ sake and let the process play out. This isn't a damn video game.

And how long is Albert going to be around? I don't think he is a long term solution. I see him on the team for only about 3 years max.

So, how is Jordan going to be "much more than a rotational player?" Huh? Who is he going to be replacing? Vernon? Having him come in on 3rd only? Then trade Vernon...but you can't get much for him. Wake? Doubt that. So, what are you doing with him more than last year?

You have 3 pass rushers on this team now. That is a luxury. One of them is great, but declining, another is rising...and another is the 3rd pick in the draft. If last isn't starting and isn't injured...that is is complete FAIL. We should trade the one that we can get the most for now, but will only give us another couple of years....that is Wake. Vernon and Jordan could be bookends for years. Think about it...you end up having a shiny new LT, Albert, Pouncey, and a couple others and then Vernon and Jordan rushing. I don't think it is that unrealistic a plan. But, you let the 3rd pick in the draft just ride pine...

We should probably be able to go BPA in the first round and get a right tackle later in the draft. I hope this is a smoke screen and we bring back Clabo at a decent price.

Clabo?....Get real, right now this teams first pick is O-line.

I hope it is a smoke screen and we move up for Evans or Watkins. :)

Dude, there is a better chance of you getting hit by lightning and a meteor as you win the powerball while getting a BJ from Alexandra Daddario then us getting either one of those guys.

Lol, Albert will be 29 this entire season. . Your kidding yourself if you only think he will play until he is 31.Jordan replaced Soliai,Misi and Wheeler last season in different packages. Why won't he do the same this year. He will also have an entire off-season to improve his strength. Something he couldn't do last season because of his shoulder injury. He will also be a year further along in his adjustment to the NFL. If his playing time doesn't at leasr double this year I will be shocked. Once again your solution is to turn a strength into a weakness. You are just repeating the same garbage in a different sentence structure. Until you come up with a better alternative stop wasting my time. Because if you haven't noticed the best way to knock a franchise QB off of his game is by applying consistent pressure and disrupting the timing of his offense.

I agree. People just dont realize how versatile he can be. He can already get after the QB with his outside pass rush & once his inside counter develops he will be nasty. He has extremely fluid hips & his hand fighting is pretty good as well. He just needs more reps. Plus his bull rush is already better than i expected. Coverage wise he will be able to shut down any TE in the NFL. That will be huge when facing the Patriots. Last the coaching staff has already determined they can line up anywhere (LB, NT or DE) and have him rush the passer or drop off into coverage. I really believe in 2 years he could be a player that offenses have to game plan for because of his skills/attributes.

Ross being a moron once again...he should keep his mouth shut and say, "the people have have put in place to take care of these decisions will take care of it. I trust their decision." That is all the moron has to say...

Yup, you can sit on your high horse behind your computer while the moron continues to stack up his billions. The guy is obviously a complete retard, most billionaires get to where they are in life due to stupid decisions any way, right?

Waaaaaaaaaa. Deal with it. I'm not the one running this train wreck. I'm just one that has my eyes open. You should try it.

I have not said much about Hickey yet, because I do not just jump to conclusions. But with Ross...it isn't exactly "jumping to a conclusion" calling this guy a moron when it comes to football.

The fact that you can't see why is your problem...

Omg people what is the big deal he said we needed a linemen in the draft. You think the other 31 teams don't know that? Quit bitching

Ross can say what he wants. Personally, until I see the finished product play as a solid unit on the field and protect Tannehill, I will continue to believe that the unit is not good enough yet.
