Manning zeroed in on Miami Dolphins

I dont understand what the Colts are waiting for? Just cut the guy already...Do they have to wait?
 
Today is the last day to franchise someone, right? I just think Manning is gone from Indy, and hopefully he can come here and give us at last three good seasons. Thursday can't get here fast enough.

I think its a PR move (or non-move) to keep him as long as possible. Irsay wants to be able to say that he waited for the last minute to see how he much Manning had progressed.
 
i am confident for mannjng it won't be about the money! it will be about a team ready to compete and the right fit for him! i just hope his momma want a crack whore or he is sensitive to adverse questions about his neck.
 
They have until the 8th to pay him his roster bonus. Hopefully he's on our roster by the 9th.

I also hope we can make a quick decision (if Manning is available) so we can than focus on other free agents. If it drags out, we could see a lot of other teams grabbing other FA's and get left holding the bag.

so the worst thing could be no manning, no RGIII, no flynn...hmmm sucks.and solai?
 
the colts will wait until the the last second to cut him. irsay is a ####head and wants to derail manning as much as possible.
 
Per @greggrosental, Ive talked to some folks that believe Manning will quickly sign with Miami the strongest possibility soon after he's cut.

I guess but what is the benifit from playing the waiting game to the Colts? You have to take into account the posiblity that the treatment of their fanchise QB could weigh in on Lucks decision to play for the Colts.

Just becasue they draft him doesn't mean he has to play for them, it would be funny if Luck pulled a E.Manning on the Colts in this years draft and they lost Manning and Luck. Priceless.

By the time Manning is cut Redskins might have already traded up for RG3, Rams want a deal in place for No.2 by week's end.
