I was watching Cousins in the senior bowl last night. He has a nice zip on the ball and smarts so...we'll see.
 
I know one thing we will be getting alot more primetime games this year.

I beleive under the new CBA players under contract are not allowed to have contact with any coaching staff besides owners and physicians, so he is not allowed to contact the Colts coaching staff much less those of other teams.

Hmmmm maybe we are doubling down on QBs this year like we fif with corners a couple years back..... Manning and Flynn.
( yeah I know ...now way... somethings should be left unsaid. )
 
I'm for all hoping to get manning. But I'm not going to put all my hopes and dreams on him because I don't want To have a huge let down

no they dont have to wait , and imo it will happen tuesday or wednesday because its really an insult to peyton to hold him to the last second then release him, so imo i think we can look for it by wednesday at the latest.
 
When it comes to television ratings, Miami is the sexy landing spot for Peyton Manning.
Twice a year against Brady, plus the usual slug fests against the Jets are prime time telecasts IMHO
 
getting manning is going to haapen i just have a good feeling and he is going to be playing with a chip on hi shoulder after being cut by the colts but in all honesty he does not want to be on a team rebuilding. the colts have said it and he wants to comeback to win another superbowl in the place he won his first and only one in miami!!!!! we have the defence running game and all pro lt j.long future probowler on m.poucey and a #1wr in marshall and then thrown in r.wayne as our #2 wacth out baby!!!!!! wooohooo

That's only IF the March 8th date gets pushed back. Peyton's heart is obviously in Indianapolis but there's a business side to this and if the Colts are willing to pay him the bonus he will definitely stay. If they don't then I doubt he sticks around to work out a new deal with them, the Dolphins will outbid what ever deal the Colts will give especially since they won't be offering as much as we would since Andrew Luck will be their priority QB to sign.

Colts are going to try to get a home discount obviously but Peyton likely won't bite, it will be his last contract and we definitely have more money to offer.
