Howard and Tunsil are going to get paid, as early as after this season. Howard was a second-rounder and Tunsil was a first-rounder in 2016 (kudos, general manager Chris Grier and staff).

Miami holds Tunsil’s fifth-year option rights, but hold no such option for the second-rounder, so getting a post-season extension done with Howard, it could be argued, is the even greater priority.

Howard would surely earn a deal worth more than $10 million per season, perhaps even in the $12 million range.

They are lowballing the heck out of Howard in this article.

If Miami can get away with a 5/75 extension . . . .they will have done well. That essentially would place his deal “just under” Xavian Rhodes over 6 years post extension . . . .but 2 years after the fact.

No rush on Tunsil but yea prepare to make him the top paid OT in the NFL. No getting around that . . .. is what it is.

That kid might have the most consistent technique in the game at the position.

Get x done this offseason get tunsil done next offseason.

So how much do you give Howard after they gave Jones over 20mill? This FO sucks so bad man. Can they look at Howard and tell him Jones is worth more than him?

Howard is going to get a much bigger contract than Jones did. And just think it was a little over a season ago that a bunch of people here were complaining about Howard and some even wanted to get rid of him...
 
As long as we lock up Larsen long term all will be good. Is his jersey 50% off yet, was looking for a good Christmas present?

The Jones extension wasn’t as bad as it seems, even if I would of never given it to him.

The restructure though? That is some straight fireable ****.
