Personally, I thought Matt Turk did a great job on ST. He was very consistent with his punts all year. I know many of you think Mare is past his prime but the guy can still kick.

we would best cut Mare. then we could easily afford LAW, and sign a cheap kicker.

Dok..using this logic, we should have kept Surtain and Mare and been fine ??

Mare is not a slouch kicker...he had a poor year 2 years ago, but was decent last year...What cheap kickers are out there who can be relied on ??? I say keep Mare and see how this year goes...if he still can't get back to where he was, then cut him next year. Too risky to just sign a "cheap kicker"...
