Steve Prefontaine has a statue. Its the only statue nike has ever erected in honor of one of their sponcers.

Dude it gave me the "giggles" I have no Idea why but its like when you where a kid and knew you werent supposed to laugh but you cant stop...its killing me.

The art form of statue making was lost long ago.Now they use technology to make up for the hand crafting that was previously used.Marinos statue is not a work of art but it its just a symbol just as are the busts at the HOF.

There are no more Michelangelos .Now we have computers and automatic lathes.

Dont change it for me! It just struck me funny when I saw it....Its a nice idea and I like the sentiment but that last one has to much written you cant even see that statue :goof:
