Marqise Lee vs Damian Williams

I think Miami is going to be "stuck" at 19. Teams are not giving away picks in this deep draft.

scuttlebutt is that if martin is gone miami looks to trade down and takes bitonio...i like the player but the only thing i will say about that is if it fails at tackle right tackle with albert here i don't see the strength to kick inside and not get tossed around...22 reps of 225 doesn't lend itself to a anchor guy...i get that strength can be built up but i would expect some issues when matched up against strength inside...in the early going at least...martin did 29 reps as a comparison

more plug and play at tackle than guard imo...bitonio shows as a very effective cut blocker in space...

whether or not i buy that current scuttlebutt or not is another thing though...if they do end up trading down and taking bitonio you can bet your sweet ass that all that "i take bpa" stuff from hickey was hot air...that would be a need pick as much as anything..the only thing he'd be doing is moving to where the grade matches the need and forgoing bpa

That'd be a pretty rough start to the draft. If I only cared about Miami's picks, I probably wouldn't watch Day 2 or 3.

IMO this draft is about assisting the CURRENT group of playmakers (RT, Wallace, Hartline, Clay, Moreno etc.) in doing their job. Outside of a few skill players, I do not see many re-defining picks available at 19.

Therefore, find players that can block for the QB or get the ball back quicker for the offense to have additional chances.

I will say this....if Mosley and Martin are gone....prey that one of the big QB falls and Cleveland wants to jump infront of the Cards to grab him....

I'm just hoping Cooks gets hyped so the Saints trade with us.

if we do trade out that's what i think it will be about...a team jumping up for a qb in front of zona and cleveland or cleveland coming up to us...but zona also has a major tackle need so they could fill that anyways in round 1 or they could try to jump us should a certain tackle still be there at pick 18...

mosleys medical tells me he will be there come pick 19...may be there after too if it's as big a red flag as i'm hearing...

Good size, don't much about him....don't really watch a lot of Indiana games...

I could see a few trades happening in the first...a lot of team positioning themselves for specific needs and values...

We fixed our left tackle, and center is still good. I prefer to see at least 2 if not 3 offensive lineman in this draft. If first round is not oline, i'd want rounds 2-4-6 or 7 to go oline. If first round works out for Martin or a tackle, then I'd take another oline guy in the 4th or 5th to play interior or develop for a year down the road.(hopefully)

If we can run the ball, it helps the defense and Mike Wallace(less safety help). I'd love to see Zach Martin(1st rd)/Morgan Moses or Cyrus Kouandijo(2nd round)/and either Tre Mason in the 3rd or Kadeem Carey or Andre Williams in the 4th.(both are guys that are tough on first contact)

I really think both Moses and Kouandjio end up goin late 1st early second....I do hope the Phins pass of Kouandjio...can't stand typing that name out...

Shazier in the first is what I want but I would not be upset with Lee. Lee runs good routes and tries to get every inch possible after the catch and our two starting wrs can't break a tackle to save their lives. Wallace has yac ability because if he catches the ball with a step on the defender nobody is going to catch him but both he and Hartline are nearly useless with defenders in front of them after the catch.

are we really comparing Damian Williams to Marqise Lee? If you've actually watched both their games side by side from college, the difference is extremely noticeable.

I agree Cooks goes to the Jets FWIW.

Plus, in such a deep draft of receivers, I am confused why every wants to jump on at 19, when the line, LB's and DB's are all of more need AND might be graded higher than a Marquise Lee.

There are needs or shall we say upgrades that could be made at many positions. The team has to get more explosive and score more points and that's why I could see the argument to actually take a playmaker high on offense. I think it's an intersting decision they might be faced with at 19.

More than likely that is the case. I hope WR's start coming off the board about 15; SF gets nervous and moves up to 19.The Whiners have enough ammo to move up that far.
