Marshall traded to Chicago

I feel really bad right now. I'm pissed, sad and confused at the same time. What a terrible trade.

For those who are saying that Marshall gave Revis fits: watch the game again.

Most of Marshall's yardage against the Jets in the past two years came against Cromartie.

Trying to make sense of this in my head...and it's starting to hurt, lol.

I suppose there are several reasons I can come up with for the Marshall trade.

1st, he was outspoken and a bit boisterous at times and while he was never a locker room cancer (at least that I know of) he did sound off the media every now and then.

2nd, Marshall dropped a lot of balls...it was overlooked because of his knack for the big play however.

3rd, Marshall liked to make up routes on his own. He sometimes ran routes that weren't in the playbook to get open and hoped the QB was on the same page...something that probably irked Philbin who will implement the WCO, an offense that needs it's receivers to run precise routes because of the timing involved in the throws.

4th, Trading Marshall should free up more than $10 million in cap room. I think he was schedule to make around $11.2 million this season so we should now have more than $20 million in cap space.

So we trade 2 second round picks.... and now we only get 2 third round picks?

No we traded a player away that has had some positive moments, but has had just as many or more negative moments. He obviously was a major pain in the ass in the locker room.

I hate to see him go, he's a stud, but contrary to what some Dolphin fans think, these guys running the team are not morons. There has to be a rational reason they let a Brandon Marshall go.

Horrible trade. Ireland gives up two #2's to get him and them trades him for two #3's? He should have at least gotten two #2's for him. The Bears made out like bandits and the Dolphins have no playmakers once again.

No, the Tuna gave up TWO #2's for Marshall, not Ireland.

Jeff Ireland is a complete disgrace to football. What an atrocious move.

rebuilding again? Boy do I hate some if not most of our front office moves. Now we have a hole at Wr... Wtf?

There isn't a snowballs chance in hell Parcells every trades for a WR let alone two seconds! Jesus there was even a Ireland interview were Ireland said" Bill tkld him he had to replace the picks"

Yay! Another 5 year plan being thrown on us like a World Bank austerity measure.

What a smoldering pile of **** this team's become.

My question is, does this make MIA a player for VJax? Prior to today, VJAX was rumored to be headed to CHI.

The 2 x3rds is terrible, but new coach, new philosophy. This isn't just Ireland, this is the ramifications of a new HC coming in and wanting HIS players. Sucks, but its reality.

gonna put my 2cents in..in gb philbin didnt have really high draft picks who all turend out pretty darn good...outside of not being there when driver was drafted maybe sherman was?
