Marshall traded to Chicago

Eric Winston is now reported to be visiting the Dolphins. Given we're saving a little north of $5 million on the Marshall trade (after eating $5 million), and that's about what Winston earned last year with the Texans, that's exactly what this trade could be about. Trade Marshall, and use the extra money to sign an excellent zone blocking RT in Winston.

I never believed we should just count on Murtha to hold that spot. The guy is coming off a pretty major injury and is still pretty raw.

This is the most stupidest trade in Dolphins history.

A clear message that we don't want Manning.

The best receiver in the NFL for 2 # 3's...??

This tops the Wes Welker trade to our rivals the Patriots.

When is the nonsense ever going to stop with this team.

They should let the moderators of this board make decisions for this team, they'd do a better job.

Simply unbelievable, and doesn't say much for our new Coach.

A disaster and the season hasn't even started.

The Dolphins just sent a strong message to Manning, unbelievable!

Wait to see why it was done before you overreact.

I'm surprised that we got that much for him. He is not a dominant WR IMO; only tries when he wants to, and drops too many passes. So what if he makes a few big plays here and there... he's talented, but not 100% dependable. I never cared for him as a Dolphin and am glad to see him go, although I'm sure that I'm in the minority.

marshall is one of the best wrs in the nfl i dont care what is said , and look who has been throwing him the ball marshall hasnt had a tom brady or a manning throwing him the ball or he might have been one f the best all time , say what you will about marshall but if anybody knows football they know he is one of the best to ever play the game diss him all you want but we all know the truth,.....

I can't believe we traded our best receiver. I'm sorry, but I will not renew my sunday ticket, buy the caps, buy the jersey, or anything if we are rebuilding, again. I will not renew to see B. Hartline as a #1, or Tannehill or Flynn at QB, etc. If we get Manning and Wayne, then yes. I'm sick of being a crap team.

i second that i will not renew mine either and you think the seats is enpty now ROSS JUST SIT BK AND WATCH NOW . SOMETHING BETTER BE UP.

The only thing I can hope for is that Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he wants to be traded and we are preparing to move up for him with extra picks...

wow, 2 thirds....I feel Chicago may have gotten the better of this deal by a bit

So if you take Blackmon maybe he is as good as Marshall. That's a maybe and then you wasted probably the #8 pick in the draft getting back to the same level of talent as Marshall.

2-3rd rounders was all they could get, WTF?

Stupid move. Trade two 2nd rd picks to get him and then trade him for 2 3rd round picks. I'm glad Ireland is not my stock broker.

This is the last straw for me..we desperately needed a #1 WR for how many years? We finally had one and we trade him away? Are you kidding me? We get awful value and our offense looks pitiful once again. They better have some master plan in place or else they are gonna lose a lot of fans. Unbelievable

Marshall is not the best WR in the league. Top 10 yes, but not number 1,[/QUOTE

Look at his Pro-Bowl numbers when he had real QBs throwing to him.

I have lost all confidence with our new HC.
