Marshall traded to Chicago

Give it a rest already and think for a minute that maybe Philbin did not want him.

Since Don Shula, we haven't had a single coach I would have rather had than a rare (for us) Pro Bowl player on offense, and an aging rookie head coach sure isn't going to do anything to change that.

Huge void created on offense........ normally you dont trade your best player without having a replacement ( Luck )
We are now entirely weak on offense, at this point. Not the news we were hoping for, they have to really impress us now.
Even if we land Peyton its looking like we'll need to find him someone to throw to, and it won't be a playmaker. Meachem could be a steal tho.

I don't like to wish terrible things on people, but Jeff Ireland.... if his life ends today not a single **** would be given.

This guy is complete scum. What a loser.

This is so ****ing stupid n the funny part is that some of yall on here wanted this to happen. Well it happened u got what u wanted now don't bitch n moan that we don't have a #1 receiver. Oh wait I'm sorry we have 3rd draft picks of unproven talent I guess that's better...this front office digusts me

It's not like Marshall caught 4 TD's in a Pro Bowl a couple months ago...ohhhh wait....we have better WR's than him.

My spin... Maybe the FO knows Peyton will sign here, (it sure is wierd they decided to trade Marshall the day after their meeting with Peyton, if this has indeed "been brewing" since the combine" they need to clear cap space... maybe sign Reggie Wayne, but I think if Peyton signs here they will go all in for Justin Blackmon... they have to

Got the text about this trade earlier today, and the first thing i said "Peyton Manning is not coming here", we are completely revamping our offense AGAIN. Justin Blackmon, Malcolm Floyd, Stephen Hill, Brian Quick are now big time targets for the dolphins in this draft. Dolphins are now negotiating with Eric Winston to fill the right tackle spot.

Um, something says Peyton/Wayne package soon. Hello?

I agree, I had the first same reaction as everyone else. I will reserve final judgement until I see why we did this. We just paid a big price a couple years ago to get our #1 WR and he has fufilled that role just fine. Now the only logical reason we'd let him go for this is if we needed the cap space, we had a decent replacement in mind, it wasn't a good mix with whom we were bringing in. Somehow it almost HAS to be Manning related. If it's Flynn or anyone else, then we just demonstrated why we have been the laughing stock of the league. I just pray Philbin is behind some/all of this for some logical reason because I don't trust Ireland on his own. Please let there be a logical reason for this questionable move.

Id say a Manning/Wayne Congo coming, but, we are the Dolphins, cant see it happening.

Catching TD's in the Probowl game doesnt mean diddly... he cant seem to catch them in the regular season, you know, when it matters.

Its a bad trade if they don't get manning and/or a top WR in FA

****ing kidding me?! Happy hour ain't so happy anymore. ill be getting drunker than i planned i guess.

3rd round picks? Really dude? Watch Brandon Marshall have a career year with cutler. Bears are gonna be good.
