Sorry, if he has the truth on his side, there's nothing to hide from anyone. I'd say it's looking all the more suspect, but storming out in a dramatic hissy fit as a result of having the same old familiar cafeteria prank played on him that he played 2 weeks previously on a teammate, not speaking at any time to the coaching staff yet immediately to a reporter, checking himself in for a very short and surely non-therapeutic stint in a local mental facility before flying home and seemingly not being further treated, 1100 texts to Incog including threatening to kill his family, etc, etc etc, all screams "Orchestrated, contrived money grab and legal precedent reset" to me :idk:
Honestly, every time I read your wacko commentary on this stuff, I'm torn - are you so pro-Cog/anti-Martin that you've lost your senses.
Like, just think about it, please! Please! If someone wants to sue for workplace harassment, they will want to demonstrate that they were a victim of harassment, that they were not a willing participant in the harassment behaviors, that they did not contribute to it by actions on their own side, and that they made reasonable attempts to make the harassment stop. How does:
- Dogging Richie back and forth with 1000 texts
- Participating in all the pranks
- Hanging out with Richie on off days
- Not telling anyone on the team about the "bullying"
- After leaving the team, show up smiling on the Stanford sidelines with a big smile on your face
somehow scream "orchestrated, contrived money-grab" to you?? If anything, it shows the
exact opposite - it shows that Martin was a willing participant, that he didn't attempt to stop the behaviors, that he's not a victim, and that the team shouldn't be held responsible for his problems! :rolleyes2:
I'm not saying that Martin won't file legal action, or that the legal action wouldn't be justified - there's clearly way more to this thing than any of us knows. But please, please for the love of brain cells don't tell us your interpretation of events is screamingly obvious, when in fact the only thing that's obvious is your own bias! :rolleyes2:
