Marvez: Source Says They Think Ireland/Philbin Stay, Sherman Goes

Ireland has been standing outside the practice facility talking to an unidentified person for about 12 minutes.

This franchise isn't going anywhere until Ross is gone.

I have often heard Dan Marino's name associated with positions in the organization; but, does Dan want to be associated with this mess? He does have a good TV gig?

This really is starting to feel like a repeat of 2011...

Then: Sparano and Ireland at odds
Now: Philbin and Ireland at odds

Then: Dan Henning forced out largely against HC's wishes
Now: Mike Sherman forced out largely against HC's wishes

Let's just hope that Tannehill doesn't regress to Henne levels...

Sadly, I think we are stuck with the red menace for another year. This is not going to end well.

Maybe it's someone explaining to him why he has been locked out of the building.

I'm fine with this, and is what i was expecting anyway. the offensive line and the offensive playcalling was the biggest issue. Lets hope whoever replaces Sherman, isn't a complete moron, and miami will be better than this year.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

To skape's point.

Henning was fired and Miami actually hired there best OC of the past ****ing decade in Daboll.

Should've known. We are the Cubs of the NFL. No playoff wins or Super Bowls for years to come

Someone would love the OC job, to think its not appealing is rubbish. First off, Ross isn't saying the coach or GM is lame duck, that's someone else's opinion. Btw, I'm sure Philbin has ties to someone that he will like as much as Sherman, he's been in the biz for a while now.

Anyway, I say Ireland andnPhilbin will stay, just curious about the DC now.

Man it sure feels like we are repeating things again doesn't it? There is so much confusion, lack of direction, and disharmony among the FO and staff. It sure seems that the best solution is to clean house. Also what good OC would want to take that job knowing it will be a lame duck year for everyone? Sheesh what a mess.

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP now
Ireland gave me a no comment. I asked him if everything is cool there and he said "I can't tell you anything." He was nice about it.

The fact that he was nice about it when he's notoriously a jerk is quite telling imo. He's staying no doubt.

I'm rooting even harder for losses next year if this happens. Ridiculous. Ross strikes again. Apparently it'll take an 0-16 season for him to realize things aren't running well.

You know what's even more ridiculous, cheering for your own team to lose. Go to a different team if your going to do that crap.....

In 2009, Daboll joined Eric Mangini's staff in Cleveland as offensive coordinator. Under Daboll the Browns had the NFL's 32nd ranked offense in 2009 [2] and the 29th ranked offense in 2010.[3] Daboll was named Offensive Coordinator of the Miami Dolphins under Tony Sparano in 2011, with his Dolphins improving from 30th in the league to 20th in overall offense.[4] On February 6, 2012 the Kansas City Chiefs announced the hiring of Daboll as offensive coordinator, who went on to finish the season with the worst record in the NFL.

Like I said, best OC Miami has had in the past decade.

Being average is a winning season for Miami lately. Once Daboll had Moore playing our offense put up some ****ing points.
