there is no way we go 4-12. henne was the qb with henning as oc and we could have easily been 10-6. got robbed against pitt, if it wasnt for stupid play calling we could of beat the jets the first game and det. worst i see is another 7-9 year
 
i dont want to make it seem like matt moore is the 2nd coming of dan marino, but the guy is not a bad qb at all.

if people remember, in 09 when he came in for the panthers mid season, the guy lifted the team and played really well salvaging an 8-8 season for carolina from nothing, and winning offensive rookie of the year.

last year aside from him being injured most of the year, the guy was left stranded on a team that was built to fail last season. i would deff give him a chance, i like what he brings to the table, and is better than henne.
 
I feel quite the opposite. If Henne was a Parcells pick and Ireland and Sparano liked Moore while in Dallas, all the more reason for Henne's leash to be very short. They obviously tried to upgrade with Orton but weren't going to concede to his contract demands. If Sparano is truly coaching for his job, he's going to play the best guy. I also wonder if Moore's skill set is a better fit for Daboll's offense, like McCoy in Cleveland.

Depends, if New England kicks our ***** and embarrasses us, I can see this team winning 2 at most. Under Sparano, this team has been a bit too emotional than other teams. When they're feeling down, they play way down. When they're feeling confident, they play at a level beyond their own ability.<br>

This team needs Pennington/Ricky/Ronnie to succeed and now we don't have neither of them. I don't see where the leadership is going to come from to tell everyone to shut up and get the job done.
 
Sometimes I just shake my head and wonder what is going through Sparano's head. At the NFL level EVERYONE on the roster should be in a competition to keep their starting jobs.

I didn't read anything in that statement that said it was impossible. All I heard was that Henne had to really struggle and Moore would have to play well. I would put money on one of the two....we'll see about the other.

well imo if moore outplays Henne and lights it up and Henne blows up he wont have to worrie about all the booos and chants we want orton . it will be we want Moore and Ross will be right there to see and hear for hisself and if ireland dont make the change i see Ross steping in and makin the change himself
 
I don't understand the obsession with moore. I've always felt that Henne has gotten more criticism than he has deserved (not saying by any means that he hasn't deserved his fair share), but when has one preseason game determined who gets the starting job? People would have killed Henne, if he had thrown moore's pick. I want the best qb to lead this team, but lets wait at least two more games before we start throwing Henne under the bus and declaring moore the savior of this team.

What's difficult to understand? Henne came out and did a poor job (like he's done his whole career with Miami.) Moore came out and did his job about as good as anyone could hope for.

Why is it difficult to understand that people are sick of the never improving Chad HenneBot? It isn't just 1 preseason game for him, it's 1 preseason game for Moore. Get it straight.
