opps. i votes yes ..... but i really think he will do well as our starter .......

He turns in pretty good games, but I'm concerned if he can be the guy that can carry the team to a victory with 1:30 left in the 4th.

He beat six crap teams last year...yes, I'm concerned. Actually, we only beat 5 crap teams...we beat Buffalo twice.

of course I'm concern.....some people here think that he was so great last year but what teams did he beat?....come to think of, our defence it's been overated by many people on this board as well......people think they got better as the year went on and they did, but there's a reason for it. We played all the bad teams the 2nd part of the season. Early on they couldn't stop anyone when we actually played teams that had a good offence. We need a real QB and we need more pass rushers and play makers.

Ozzy rules!!

Not concerned simply because I know this is a rebuilding year, somewhere b/w 6-10 and 8-8, no playoffs. The QB of the future is yet to be found. Until then, may as well throw Moore in there for all the good it will do.

He deserves a chance after performing the way he did under last year's circumstances. I think that with our schedule this year he can do well. As of now he is our best shot, unless Garrard suprisingly flourishes in the WC.

I wouldn't be concerned. While Matt has some glaring issues that need correcting he is a solid mid-level QB. I think he can be a solid holdover until we do get a solid Franchise QB to take our boys to the Super Bowl. I would like to see what he does this year with a full off season program and training camp. WE NEED a solid number one receiver though. I understand that the WCO doesn't focus on one receiver but we need to altar our offense in parts to accomodate Matt as he isn't a WCO QB.

I voted yes, but I think he will play ok I was thinking more long term.

WOW, I think I agree with about everyone that posted. I agree, Moores could be pretty good this year. I also agree that I am not convinced that he is or ISN'T the future. I kinda doubt he can be a QB that can carry a team on his shoulders, but he will be fine till we get someone who can.

i see Garrard as a better qb than Moore, Garrard has a cannon for an arm, and Moore doesn't and i mean a cannon!!!!!
i could see Garrard playing.

I voted concerned. I'm just not sold on Moore or Garrard. I jost don't see Moore able to win late garms against good team. I've never been a fan of Garrard. I don't know what Devlin or a drafted QB can do.

Geez guys, it's the pressure, the thought, the memories, the comebacks, the fake spike, and the records of one Dan "The Man" Marino!!!

You can trace all the fear, the hopelessness, the resentment, the letdowns, the embarrassments, and the jokes back to the HOF great as well.

It was the 62-7 defeat at the hands of Jacksonville. Since that day forth we have all dealt with, and recently I have diagnosed this traumatic mental occurrence as "SHOCK-AWW-NO-QB" syndrome. It's a system overload in the region of the brain that controls cheering. This is a something every Dolphins fan at one time or another has in one way shape or form felt or experienced. It comes and goes but when it strikes it causes the average person to question the validity, the capability, the accuracy, the determinability, and the will of any given QB not named Dan Marino. It has destroyed us, spoiled us, ruined us, poisoned us, and made us rotten to the core when it comes to our expectations alone.

As of date, we haven't found a cure. But I'm here to tell you we might already have the key to unlocking the key component to finally beat this thing. Of course it's still up in the air, but all things considered... we have a guy who did pretty darn good last year with what he had and was asked to do. And that without a full off-season program and conditioning camp. I believe we haven't even seen the best of him yet, yet people are so quick to dismiss all but a glimmer of hope because ya know, things never go right for us. Listen I'm not naive, it's abundantly clear we don't have a long term solution at the position currently. But never let past failures cloud or blind you from the truth. And that's that Matt Moore is one heck of a quaterback!

So, I voted No! He will play well as our starter.
