The whole team laid an egg... staff included..that includes RT. He is not solely to blame.
im sorry, but cant have it both ways.
when we win, all i read on this site is how well tannehill played, tannehill this, tannehill that, etc, basically getting the majority of the credit.
yet when we lose he does not deserve majority of the blame?
look, ur comment may be right, but it has to go both ways then. cant get all the credit when we win but get basically very little blame when we lose.
if we had lost the final 2 games by scores of 37-34 and tannehill played turnover free ball, then ya, tannehill would not deserve really any blame.
However, we scored 7 pts combined in 2 games vs inferior teams with the playoffs on the line. that is pathetic.
the defense in those games, while far from lights out, was good enough, that if we had gotten even average qb play in those games, we make the playoffs. he did not even need to play like aaron rodgers, peyton manning, tom brady, etc, all he had to do was perform like an avg qb and we make playoffs and a big reason we did not was because our 8th overall pick who was drafted to lead our franchise for the next 10-15 years shat the bed.
he will deff get a chance next year to redeem himself, but if he does not take the next step, at least leading us to the playoffs, then the fins need to accept the fact that maybe they failed again in the draft and draft another qb.
no more excuses, elite qbs never ever make excuses, never, so if he wants to take the next step and become a very good qb in this league, no more excuses, just ****ing win.
